Journey beyond mind(Achuma)

Migrated topic.

emptyspace

Rising Star
So i have some achuma coming my way in 4 or 5 days, im gonna strip em, dehydrate them and then rehydrate them into balls or whatever.

im new to cacti healing and have had 2 mild shroom trips so i figure 12" will really get the healing going without being overwhelming.

actually dont know what to expect so im chill about it

also is 6"-8" of achuma a healing dose?

will be using this method posted by mew:

1. de-spine
2. de-skin
3. collect the outer 4-5mm of green flesh (i find the core/white area to emetic)
4. dry these green flesh "filets" without/low heat (never above 150, from my experience)
5. powder the dried filets
6. rehydrate the powdered filets with minimal water, just enough to make paste balls the size of marbles
7. having fasted for ~18 hours, without any sugar intake!, and it the time of day being sunset, ingest the desired amount of these malleable- mescal- marble- globs, by flushing them down your throat with minimal calorie free liquid (no more than 6oz for any dose, more liquid increases emetic possibility and reduces absorption)
8. lay down / be seated for 2 hours until you can A. burp comfortably and B. flex your abdomen safely/do a few sit ups (this is to make sure you've ingested it enough so the alkaloids are absorbed and they overpower the nausea of the eating the flesh) if you feel a purge, sit/ lay down on your back and let it pass. ( i urge not to purge, unless you feel called to, not weak and have no other choice )
9. commune with water (ie take a shower or bath SAFELY), use this time to meditate and focus on your body and how you feel)
10. cloth comfortably and have a place ready that can easily be used to trance/snooze if the effects become strong enough
11. do not eat until after the sun rises/ do not drink until the sun rises (unless you feel called to do so, but make sure its around 5 hours in to avoid purging)
12. spend the rest of the day after to integrate your experience and have light snacks available such as fruit and grains to break your fast
13. be sure to apply your newfound understanding to your daily life in such a way others can see that you are a beacon of truth and love
14. remember to not fear the experience nor fear sharing the experience with others, however always exercise caution as to not endanger yourself/others or the opportunity to commune with the spirit of the Achuma.
15. I LOVE YOU

Oh you're going to like cactus, and bridgesii is my favorite. It tends to have some MDMA like effects along with the mescaline which are very nice. I usually take it in the morning as it's an all day deal. If you take it at sundown you'll be up all night for sure. Bridgesii tends to be the most predictable trich, as far as dosage goes. In my experience about a foot is needed for a slightly more than threshold experience. Two feet is more intense and will take you much deeper.

I freeze/thaw the "filets" at least twice. It helps breaks down the cell walls. The core does contain alkaloids. I'm going to start including the core in my tea. I've always used the filet, freeze/thaw, liquify in blender with lemon juice, boil with more lemon juice, strain with t-shirt method and it has always worked well. Also, I wouldn't worry about purging. It kinda comes with the territory, and frees you up to enjoy the ride. :)

cool, i have never done mdma before tho.
yeah the morning is when I will begin the journey
also my few shroom trips were at low doses usually 1.7g or 2 g
and the few acacia brews i did were weak, but actually helped with understanding the dzogchen teachings.

can a space heater help dry cactus flesh?

so emptyspace got achuma!!
felt so powerful holding this sacred medicine

You might want to cut off the top inch or two from those, then you can grow your own. Believe me, that will add another level to the experience. Love your cactus 😉

oh yeah the tops will be grown. thanks i like them too.
might go with the tea for the first healing.

You might want to save more than an inch or two of that tip. If you're new to cactus it'll be much easier to root a cutting if you've got at least 6". I've been collecting for a while and I wouldn't root any shorter. Then in a few years you'll have more than you know what to do with. Be careful though. It all starts with one cactus in a pot. Next thing you know, you have a backyard filled with cactus as far as the eye can see. :d

I'll admit that an inch or two works fine with peruvianus; bridgesii is less impressed when cut that small. (Apologies for use of poetic license!)

Larger cuttings will of course be intrinsically more robust.

just ordered some cuttings to grow:) , i cant stop looking at people growing cacti, so im growing some too8)

Bridgesii also works well if one eats the green flesh just below the skin. The remaining flesh and core can be dried and saved for tea. Experiencing the green flesh as it is is very rewarding. If, of course you are somewhere where doing this is legal. 😉

Yep. Mescaline isn't addictive, but growing Cacti sure is. My crystal ball says this time next year your windowsill might look like this:

Yes, to make it clear, I mean growing Cactus is addicting. I went from a single Pachanoi to more cactus than I care to count in just a few years. As long as my wife isn't complaining I'll keep adding to the garden!

First pic is how it started. Followed by the current state of the garden.
