Jungle spice from spent mimosa?

I've been reading a bit here and there about people extracting the mystery "jungle spice" from mimosa hostilis using xylene/toluene. I was wondering it it's feasible to use one of the said solvents to extract the jungle spice from old mimosa/naOH solution which has been wash over many times to try squeeze out other alkaloids which may have been left behind?

Is this a good idea or a waste of time and materials?

I just figured if the standard solvents only extract the DMT then the other alkaloids may still be inside the mix.

Can someone confirm this for me please?

Thanks :)

Right forget all that as lazy person here has researched that for themself now.

So the basic NaOH solution can be extracted with Xylene and then evaporated to achieve a crude product of DMT other and other alkaloids.

As the original procedure in question is STB and Xylene doesn't freeze precip. very well could one then add the crude product to a solution of HCl around ph 3-4 to defat, then extract with naptha to remove other fats then re-base with NaOH then extract again with xylene and evaporate.

I'm aware that this procedure would result in some loss of product, but would it compensate for the unavailability of freeze precipitation in anyway?

Thanks.
