Salvia may lead to an out of body experience, but not always. During a deep salvia breakthrough, you will not be aware of your “real” body. Within the experience, you may not have a body at all, you may have your usual body, or (and this is unique to salvia, I think) your body may “morph” into an inanimate object. For example, I had a series of experiences where I morphed into circus tents!
