Yeah, I asked Gibran before I did it and he said not to torch it, just to soak it in alcohol. So that is what I did. I'd like to know what the black spots are, I don't think it could possibly be the copper, right? I mean the flame never even comes close to touching the coppper. It has to be the spice?
