Ladies and Gentlemen, Good Evening.

Migrated topic.
Hi everybody, or everyone or maybe i'm just talking to myself or a collective consciousness as we are all, just one. Either way I greet you. Today I wish to share a little bit of myself with you. (first time's free ; ) )

Firstly, I want to mention that I was "that" kid in highschool. I smoked pot, ditched class, partyed and had a hell of a time. While still graduating a year early : ) I was always too smart for my own good and had strong beliefs wrong or right. I was an atheist up until I was 17. At 16 I attempted suicide by downing about 80 blue pills of Tylenol PM, after a fight with my Dad. It would've been all 100, except for the ones that fell out of my mouth as I was shoving them down my throat. I was rushed to the ER finding out later than Tylenol is the only medicine that contains a certain chemical that when overdosed on kills your liver in about an hour. It's close to the hour mark when they started pumping my stomach. It was not a pleasant experience and I learned a lot from that day including what a catheter was! (tip: when the Dr. asks you to pee, do it!) lol: it's only half funny nowadays : P

The reason behind my actions were my philosophies about life. Being an atheist I truly believed life was pointless. That no matter how great a life you live you will die and then all your memories will be gone. No matter how big an impact you left on the Earth, It will eventually be swallowed by the Sun and all history will be lost. And any surviving life forms in the cosmos will eventually die out when all the stars burn up all their fuel and the universe will be cold and lifeless for eternity.

Wow, That's seriously how screwed up my thinking was! ^^

After my ordeal I was still somewhat an atheist and looked to the brighter side of it, such as this is my only life. That I should live it to the fullest and make the most of my life cause I only have one. : ) Which in my opinion is a lot better.

At 17 I had a shroom experience that changed my life and how I thought about it. 7 of my closest friends and I shroomed in my 2 bedroom apartment. It was heaven. It felt like Nirvana. That my Apt, was the only place in the universe and life was perfect we had everything! Food, water, entertainment, sex, love, happyness. Anything and everything. There was no theft. Since the apartment was the only place in the world, so if you stole something, where would you take it? to the other room?? lol. this was the mindset, life was perfect and every room was a new adventure with new people continuously. I watched Parabola by Tool. It was the only song in existence at the time. It was a perfect song. It explains life. And I adopted this new philosophy. "death is an illusion" 8) I watched Bill Hicks, talk about how the world is a ride and his hilarious LSD stories. Check this out: LSD Story

I learned a lot from that day/night and I carry it with me.

My new philosophy of life is this: We are one consciousness experiencing itself through different forms. That life is eternal, I strongly believe in reincarnation. I believe we are all God just down here to learn and have the ability to experience life. Being God sucks in my opinion. You know everything, are everywhere, are timeless. Seems like being God is boring. What do you do all day?? So I believe we as God decided to create life and live it, to have fun and be able to love and make mistakes and enjoy life. and to die and do it all over again. ; ) I believe we live forever. So if you can, how do you spend your time? (anyone else think like this?)

I am a fan of psychedelics and am an avid believer in their healing and learning potentials, which brings me to DMT.. Since I first found out about it, it has always been in the back of my mind. I read DMT: The Spirit Molecule which was an amazing read and I highly recommend it. It took me 3 years until I first tried it. I was able to obtain it on my 21st Birthday Party. (almost 2 weeks ago) You can read about my first trip here: First Time

Since that, I have not been back "in" and I dying in anticipation. Since then I have prepared myself with all the ingredients to extract it with the exception of lye and I'm going to get pickling lime (as a sub) sometime tonight and begin the process. I even got a VG! 8) I will post my yields and experiences in the next few days.

I want to close by saying I'm happy to have found this site with all these helpful, intelligent, caring individuals. And I look forward to learning and chatting with you all. Thanks so much for your time, much Love!

Welcome.

I still consider myself an atheist or anti-theist in terms of not believing in god the way the word is used and believing that organized religion is a determent to mankind.. I do believe in the oneness of everything though and have recently started to question whether atheist is how I want to classify myself.

Good job on getting a VG I've come to love mine already (have only had like weekish) Takes a few uses for me to get a feel for it..

I really like your line "We are one consciousness experiencing itself through different forms" I will probably have to steal that as it lines up perfectly with what I have been thinking for awhile and is basically a different way of saying some of my common lines..

DMT has changed me for the better or at least it really seems to have.. Little things are coming into place for the first time in quite awhile for me it could be coincidence but I think it has to do with the molecule and little incites both conscious and not that I have grabbed onto.

Happy travels

Wow. Amazing introduction. Thank you so much. i think you will find that there is even more waiting for you. Hope to see you around here - it's a neat place.

welcome!

are you gonna do a dry tek to extract dmt? I ask because lime doesnt mix well with water so making a normal STB or A/B apparently wont work with is (or so I read, I havent tried it myself yet)

Oh, i'm glad you asked that. I did not know that. I was gonna do a STB. I thought I couldn't find Lye anywhere here but I just checked Ace hardware and they have "Drain Opener" which is 100% NaOH (16 oz Rooto) so I will try using that. Also I was gonna use acetone instead of Naphtha VM+P but since I'm going to Ace anyway I'll get the right stuff. Thanks again for you comment you most likely saved me a huge disappointment and headache. : )

You really have to research more, its not like you can substitute all chemicals as if they work the same. For example, how would you get your acetone out from an STB? did you know it mixes with water? You cant use acetone for an extraction like this.....

I strongly suggest you read some more before embarking on any extraction. For example check the WIKI, read at least a few different extraction teks and understand the principles. Dont rush it! I say this for your own safety and for the desire that it is successful!

Thanks for sharing, Sir. You'll find more here than you were expecting, guaranteed! Your "collective consciousness" comment really grabbed my attention; I think that when groups of people get together for a common purpose, a "group mind" is created; a mind is created that is more than the sum of the individual minds involved. Group minds become more powerful as the individual consciousnesses become more powerful; I've noticed that when consciousness-expanding practices such as meditation, yoga, or conscious psychedelic use are involved, the group mind can become very powerful indeed. I got this idea from reading a founding (and most brilliant) systems theorist by the name of Gregory Bateson. Welcome to the Nexus.
