Hello everyone, my name is fanphoenix and right now I am very frustrated and need some help.
I have been lurking around this forum for about a month and decided to try and extract my own DMT!
Every time I pull the DMT from the freezer the crystals are there but melt and are never seen again. It happened to me twice. The first time I took the DMT out of the freezer, it was cloudy, obvious DMT crystals, I was happy. I immediately drained it through a coffee filter and started scraping at it and it just smeared everywhere. Obviously naphtha still in the crystal.
I am trying the lazy mans tek. I use powdered MSRB.
I put 750ML, distilled water in a glass container. I add 50G of lye and mix till clear.
I then add 50G of the MSRB and stir occasionally every 15 minutes for an hour.
I then add 50ML of naptha and stir. I learned its easier to not shake it. After occasionally stirring the naphtha every 15 minutes for an hour I use a turkey baster and grab the naphtha on the top. I put it into a jar and into the freezer it goes. Now after 6 hours it seems the crystals are there! But they're mushy and melt in a room temp room.
So I think the problem is there is Naphtha in the crystals still and I am rushing it.
Would it work if I drain the Naptha from the freezer container then put the container back in with the lid on upside down over night so gravity will pull the rest of the naptha to the lid. Then I can pop the top in the morning and let it evap in my room with AC for the day to fully evap the naphta?
