No open flame with solvents like naptha ever!!!!..serious danger there of blowing yourself up:shock: ..I think that the name of this thread is sort of misleading as well..noone should be looking for a "lazy" way of heating solvents..

Im not sure what you mean about heating the mix somehow ammounting to more solvent in the solution?..heating it will NOT make more solvent in the solution..its unnecessary and dangerous and the fact tha you even have to ask about open flame tells me you need to do more research..

None of this is a direct attack on you..just trying to save you and anyone else from blowing up..I remembr another member here a few months back actaully did burn themselves doing something similar..

You really dont ned to heat anything at all.
 
Never heat solvent over an open flame :!: That is a GOLDEN rule. It will make sure you stay alive, don't damage your house, and don't damage yourself. Never heat solvent over an open flame.

NO open flame please..hot water bath far from open flame....or just heat the solution then add naptha away from flame...I have blown myself up before and it sucks!!!

yes, when I wasnt so high anymore I remembered that open flames and napatha were a bad thing and knew a hot water bath was the right way I just need to watch my how high my temp goes
