This plant is invasize and grows well in poor soil (they grow like weeds !). They were introduced to the US from Japan many years ago and are now found throughout the Southeast. Unforunately, I can't find any other info, anywhere, though there is evidence of other goodies in this plant (terpenoid and flavonone compounds).
Does anyone have any experience/info ?
