So I'm using the lextek and it calls for 2 kilos of bark. Since this is my first extraction I'm only going to use 100g of acacia confusa so my question is would I just divide all the measurements by 20?
..u don't have to use 2kg..that's quite a bit..just use as much as is convenient..
i have seen plenty of successful extractions done with only 100-200grams of material..
^..where did u hear this? i've seen many many successful extractions with No defat stage..
the Nexus (check the extraction subforum and teks in the nexus-wiki) is pretty much the place for experienced opinions on dmt extraction..Norman's (& the Lazyman's tek) are very popular..
..hmm..here's a link to a successful confusa extraction..there are a few on the Nexus..there's certainly no phytochemical evidence of extra 'oils' in published tests..
.
SWIM just recently used the Lextek on Acacia Confusa with great success. So far, an initial 200g or root bark has yielded 870mg of spice. That's only after 4 75mL naphtha pulls and there is still plenty more to come. Also, the defat step in the tek was skipped as SWIM felt it was unnecessary. As far as the oils are concerned, SWIM found that making sure the naphtha is not too hot will reduce the amount of the undesireables in the final product. Warm naphtha at approximately 40 degrees celsius (sorry for the canadian jargon ) pulled only spice from the bark tea.
Swim also followed lextek and skipped the defat. now the dish has evapped and there are a bunch of globs of goo. no crystals. will they start to crystalize if swim just left them alone? :?
SWIM also followed this tek and had the end result of a yellow goo. SWIM is now going to proceed with a De fat step to see what the end result is. Stay tuned.
