Liquid to Blotter?

I have a friend who has some liquid L, or so it is said to be L. He was going to give me some as a gift, for I have been looking for LSD for a long time. However, its in liquid form and we dont have anything to place it onto for long term storage.

I know that it can be placed onto sugar cubes, but I would like to avoid this method because I dont want to ingest a bunch of sugar. Plus, if it does turn out to be a RC, the sugar will mask the bitterness of it. I plan on testing it out once I get my hits as well, and I dont know if having it on sugar can alter the results of a testing kit.

I also know it can be placed onto blotter paper, but where does one get blank unused blotter paper? I have heard that art supply stores sell it, but I dont want to simply walk into an art supply store like Micheal's, and ask someone if they sell blotter....So is there a special name for it when used in art purposes? I would like to be able to just go look for it and purchase the paper instead of asking an employee for help.

Also, I have heard that dropping from a vial onto paper does not create a strong dose of blotter, like dipping a sheet into a tub would. Is this true, or is that just rubbish? I assume that a dose is a dose, regardless of if its liquid, or if that same dose of liquid is dropped onto something. Could someone clear this up?

Thank you very much Cyb, I was looking at their website and came to the conclusion that a type of water color paper would be used since there was no obvious "blotting paper".

Since I have never used blotter, I want to make sure I have the technique down. All you have to do is place it under your tongue or inbetween your lips and gum line correct?

Also, like I stated before, two drops of liquid taken directly is the same as two drops of same liquid put onto blotter in terms of potency correct? Or dose some of it get stuck inside the paper and not come out? Does the paper completely dissolve, or does it need to be spit out eventually?
 
As far as paper goes, I don't have a chemistry background but I do have an art background and know a thing or two about the archival qualities of paper and how they degrade. You want no bleach, no acids and no wood pulp. Unbleached acid-free (LOL) archival quality COTTON rag watercolor paper should be as good as it gets. 'Stonehenge' is a good bet.

Just leave the blotter under your lip or by your cheek for about 10 mins to transfer the product from the paper, through the soft tissue of your mouth and into the bloodstream.
Then you can chew up the paper and swallow it, just to make sure.

If you put 2 drops on, you should get 2 drops out. :thumb_up:

You can also buy 'blotter art' online...already perforated and designed.
Although any size blotter will do.
 
I have seen the blotter art online, but that seems a little rediculous to buy a sheet of that at those prices, especially when I would just be getting a few hits. There would be a bunch of the sheet not used.

Much appreciated guys. May I soon be one of the lucky ones to experience this sacred molecule 😁 As long as it tests positive for LSD that is. Bunk police testing kits are reliable correct?
 
Good luck with your journey. Bunk Police tests are great, i believe it's the Elrich test that tests for lsd...I have it myself and it helped me already to confirm some blotters as Lsd and another set as not lsd...would need to buy more/different test kits for any hope to find out what that one really WAS. Threw it out neways...
 
So after some time, I was finally gifted this vial my friend had in his possession for a little. He had used up the liquid, but when he had gotten it he said that there was some 'floaters' in the liquid, meaning some very small, almost invisible chunks of crystal. These little crystals were stuck to the inside of the vial after he had finished it, and he thought knowing the potency of LSD that this could still yield some experiences, so he gave the vial to me.

I proceeded to add drop after drop of drinkable alcohol into the vial until they were dissolved completely. After hitting about 40 drops, the crystals are pretty much gone, but it still seems to be somewhat cloudy, just very slightly. There was maybe about 1-2mg of material stuck to the vial, so I am not sure if maybe this was just not enough alcohol to dissolve everything, or if these remaining remnants that are making it cloudy could be something else?

I held the vial up next to my black light, and the liquid did indeed emit a bluish color. It was not as intense of a blue as seen in some pictures, but then again its just a normal house hold black light and not a UV light.

I am very intrigued to see how this is, but would like the input of this community before trying it out. I do however whole heartedly trust the friend who gifted this to me, but who knows if he got it from a trusted source, ya know?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
 
So then should this be glowing brighter? Or is any flourecense a good sign in itself? My thoughts were that it was just very weak or diluted due to the amount of alcohol it dissolved into.

After letting it settle the remaining 'floaters' seem to be a small piece of dust or fuzz from fabric that got in there somehow, it is defenately not crystals and was not there before dissolving the original crystals caked to the vial.
 
Ok, that is what I had assumed to be the case. I guess the next step would be ordering a test kit to see if it turns out to be LSD, or something completely different, in which case my hopes shall be broken again :cry:
 
So I went to my local art supply store and was looking at the different water color papers they have. There was nothing to really label what type of water color paper it was, other then cold pressed, hot pressed, or rough, and then the weight along with how its pressed. There was no #'s.

So I ended up getting something I thought would do the trick, but would like to know if this is correct. I ended up purchasing some Strathmore cold press, acid free, 140lb (300g/m^2). Will this paper suffice?

I took a dropper and a small section of the paper, and placed two drops of normal alcohol onto the paper to test its absorbency. It took a second or two, but the alcohol did soak into the paper nicely and did not leave any wet marks on the surface that I had the piece of paper sitting on...so shall this work for my needs?

It just seems like thick paper and I dont see how having this placed in your mouth would pull everything out of it once the actives are placed on it. I also thought it was supposed to be more porous or something.

It took me ages to figure this one out, but yes the #14 watercolor paper in the chinacat crystal to blotter thread = 140 weight watercolor paper. You should be good to go :thumb_up:
 
Awesome! Even the people at the art store didnt know what I was talking about when I said #14 water color paper, and they asked if I meant 140lb. I ended up just asking what was the most absorbent after a while and they said the higher weights, so I went with that as it was a little more on the cheaper side.

The whole thing with cold press, hot press, and rough paper though, does that make any difference with the absorbency? Or how well it will pass into your system from the paper?
