Rising Star
Hello nexus,

I have been a member for over a year now. To this day the wealth of knowledge and sheer power of combined effort on this forum amazes me. I am writing this introduction as suggested by another member on the chat room...

I have always felt that there is not a significant amount I could contribute to this forum, but I most definitely do appreciate and try to absorb as much as I can. The chat room and it's frequent users has helped me on many facets of my life including social life, financial management and (obviously) proper/respectful usage of countless substances/plants.

I have always attempted to maintain a righteous lifestyle and personality, although I have a thorough understanding of relativity and its infinitely permeating presence (rendering much both pointless and meaningful at the same time...). I try not to dwell too long on inane type chatter. Music has been essentially the largest component of my life thus far, consuming ~80% of it (in years...). Cooking is one of my favorite things to do.

Nature has always felt like a necessity to me, and I have always tried to expose/share the wind, sound, feel and language of the forest with my close friends. It has and will always intrigue me in a way I at this point in time cannot narrate (due to the lack of proper wording in our vocabulary for such things.).

I really do not know what I am supposed to say in this introduction...

I will end this by saying that I went from being mindless to being conscious of a different plane in a shattering way when I was very young. I have always felt somewhat out of place or dare I say different in my entourage and society (Not in an uncomfortable way. Blending in is easy for me to do IF the need be). Depersonalization or derealization come to mind when I try to describe this (although not a symptom of anything, simply a state of mind).

This forum has helped me communicate with like minded people which is something I value greatly.

Much peace and love to you all.

Welcome to The Nexus!

What are some of your favorite dishes to cook?

Regarding music, is it more something you listen, or do you also play some instrument (if so, which) ?

Whats your usual setting for consuming psychoactive substances? Did you try oral dmt/ayahuasca yet?

Thank you to the both of you!

Favorite dishes to cook/eat: Curry, tempeh, anything with mushrooms, beans and rice, bread, anything with nuts (peanut soup, peanut sauce with dumplings/potato cakes (yes I know peanuts are not nuts)) and I will really be happy eating anything homemade. I absolutely love spicy foods (in fact I rarely eat non spicy food breakfast excluded). Brocolli, kale, cabbage, onions, carrots, vanilla, noodles, fruits every day (figs, apples, bananas, kiwi, melons, avocados) AND maple syrup.

Music: I have been a percussionist for over a decade playing a vast array of different percussive instruments (marimba, xylophone, standard kit, bass, timpani, classic snare, congos, bongos, djembe, etc...) And am also an avid music listener. I listen to essentially any music except country and am a huge fan of reggae/dancehall/dub and psy music.

Usual setting: Alone with music at times (substance dependent...) and in the dark. Sometimes outside. I have experimented/experience with oral dmt/ayahuasca

Possibly worth noting is that I cook for a living. I do this because it is what I love to do.
