He is...or rather he was. My youngest boy chose 5 chicks from his school (egg incubation project) and guess what...4 x cockerels and 1 x hen. As the cockerels developed their cocka-doodle-doing we had to find alternative homes so as not to upset our neighbours. He went yesterday. The sole hen is miserable.  I wish she would lay eggs. We may get another hen chick so she has company. Chickens are great pets and I have learnt loads just by trying to look after them right. :thumb_up:
