It probably won't happen next week, but it's not really far-fetched. Why shouldn't spiritual leaders get together and ingest an entheogen? it sounds like a very reasonable proposition, actually. If there really were secret chiefs or ascended masters, of course they'd blast off together. Man, I'm just staring at the posts title: it is utterly absurd to contemplate the pope taking a breakthrough dose of entheogens? Remember what that word means--it's absurd that we find the proposition absurd.

About the progressive statements made by this pope, i am reminded of the movie 'religulous'. Bill Mahr in Vatican city talking to this bishop guy and the bishop was like "yeah, no-one believes any of that old dogma stuff anymore, an intelligent person can't take this ancient superstitious baloney seriously!" I paraphrase and misquote, but you get the jist.
