Lophophora cacti can be obtained through ebay.

They are never listed as Lophophora or Peyote but as Ariocarpus, Astrophytum and Aztekium.

Use the pics to determine what kind of cactus it really is, or just ask the vendor.

Check in every few days to see if there are any... eventually you will find some nice deals.

Also... always try to order from a vendor who is in the same nation as you are... so it doesn't have to pass through customs!

I also encourage y'all to join www.peyoteway.org before buying any Lophophora!

I bet you once said that e-bay sealling poached cacti.

many of parrot`s were grafted with almost no roots or decipiens, jourdianas, caespitosas etc. :( :(

Think he finally get the real deal from nursery in uk(suprisingly they were very cheap) and from Netherland about couple of months ago . These came with massive rootstock and looks very williamsi like. ILPT was silly but now he can see the difference between indvidual subspecies although is very hard to say if they are very young.
Nobody will rip him off now..... f*****g vendors it was well costy to find the real deal :(

I know that most of the vendors on ebay who sell Lophophora are not in the USA, so no, those cacti cannot be wild harvested.

All the vendors I have dealt with in the USA have had greenhouse grown Lophophora cacti, except one.

Always ask if cacti are wild harvested (act like you think it's cool or w/e), if they are, refuse to buy them!

Ariocarpus are what you have to watch out for being wild collected! Many ebay vendors tear up entire populations and sell each cacti for $80-$200!

Ok sweetie I took a bit of my precious time and checked all the pics you suggested and have to say NONE of them are WILLIAMSI

ILPT is not a cati grower and he is not intersted in buying and propagating any non williamsi lophophoras . Screw them they are rubbish. It`s only one lophhophora in which he trust

Suggest page with lophophora williamsi (with good rootstock not grafted crap) and I will applaud !

Have you visited there coatl?..I have looked at the site many times..seems interesting..but too far away from me..

It would be neat to take cactus in the desert..I was really liking mescaline but my last trip i only ate 10 grams of torch and was feeling great..until someone smoked some weed with me and then everything turned on me..when I think of mescaline now I associate it with me stumbling around in the woods confused getting caught in time loops where the past 2 minutes would wrap around the present and trick me..

Never again will I smoke cannabis while on mescaline!

Not BOTHERED lol

Holland Vendor is cheap, reliable, shipping promptly and has good service overall! Parrot just stick to him

This Vendor also recognise between Peruvian Torch and Trichocereus Peruvianus just like ILPT.

Fantastico:wink:

Vivat la Netherand (or sumfink) lmao !

Well this thread is about obtaining Lophophora... and if your in the U.S.A. you don't really want to get them from "Holland vendor".

coatl, could you recommend a place for peyote seeds? also what soil mixture do you use. i am in usa. i have a keen interest in growing this very rare cact

You think there is a difference between "Peruvian Torch" (common name) and Trichocereus peruvianus (scientific name)?

Oh goodness.

Where do some of you people come up with this stuff?
