I've got a tek that was passed to me which is very simple and easy to follow, especially for U.S. measurements.
It's a STB Naptha, super easy.
I find the teks here harder to follow.
My question is... how to post on the wiki? I can't even figure out ho to post on the forum.

another is this. I tried washing a naptha pull with water to "remove excess lye". should this work? or is the freebase/tannate/whatever, soluble in water?

I'm getting mixed messages and waiting on a pro chemist's opinion. thought that the nexus might have feedback in the meantime.

btw have any of you used petroleum ether? what's your opinion/experience?

Petroleum ether in theory is equivalent to naphtha. Make sure it evaps clean.
