In lew of the common monicure of mama aya among ayahausca enthusthists as a reverential term of enderment towards the spirit of the vine in the holy tea we know so well, I propose and equal monicure for changa....

Seems fitting to have a proper term of endearment for changa as well.
Personally I think Mama Cha Cha flows better though.

Either way she does dance well indeed!
 
mama aya always seemed slightly schmaltzy to me. "madame cha cha" I'll have to memorise that one! it does sound slightly humorous to me, which I think is a good thing! :)

Mama cha cha rolls off the tounge well. But I like Madame better.
Mama in Peruvian as well as Bolivia culture has a specific connotation to the way they relate to plants and spirits. Papa is also used for male spirits, but the concept is based on the idea that each plantas including maize and potato, is a mama, kinda like a mother goddess. Mama patato, mama maize. These are terms of significance to them religiously.
People use the term mama aya because they hear it called that but rarely understand why it's called a mama. I prefer to establish my own relationship dynamics. Though a appreciate their cultural view, changa I've felt is in a league of it's own and allows us to create our own unique cultural relationship with these plants.

Madame Cha Cha... what a magnificent name for this spirit! Even though my experiences with changa are small in number, I definitely enjoyed it, mostly because it created an inner silence in a loving way. This year I plan to smoke changa more often, I'm very interested in its effect on meditation practice.

Dorge, I've studied your site a bit, and found it very informative, well-written and the design concept is truly creative. Many thanks for sharing this info with us, you've worked hard on putting it together.

Madame Cha cha sounds very intimate. More so than changa that has been spread very fast in festival unfortunately. It's often used by poeple who don't really know what is it, I mean really like not knowing it contain harmalas.
I admit I don't give them name often to spirit, nor use them. But I appreciate greatly your coments on mama vs papa as I heard it often in ceremonies, but I also heard grand'pa peyote and san pedro so it looked like it's a family, not only a veggie family ;)
