Hi all!
I just got through making and creating my first legitimate changa blend, "Magic Carpet Ride" changa. Created with a middle eastern spirit in mind, it was created with the following ingredients: around 500mg of reddish waxy acacia spice, around 500mg of impure rue extracted harmine freebase and about 1.5 grams of herbal medium (about a gram of Mullein and 500mg of Blue Lotus flowers).
I extracted the rue using the harmine/harmaline seperation tek, I used rue out of convenience, (caapi is difficult to obtain in the land of Oz due to draconian drug policies) and then decided to continue on with the middle eastern theme and also add a decent amount of blue lotus/lilly flowers (apparently a plant the egyptians used in a wine they made). Mullein was added for ease of smoke and lung repair. The acacia spice was obtained from a friend of a friend.
I dissolved the reddish acacia spice in acetone in a pyrex dish as best as I could then added the rue harmine and dissolved as well. Next the herbal material was added and stirred occasionally and a fan was put on the mixture to evaporate faster.
Once the acetone had dissolved I noticed the blue in the lotus flower had gone! Oh well... What I was left with was a rusty, orangey brown changa that had a reddish sparkle when light hits it (kinda reminded me of the trichomes from good bud) - MAGIC CARPET RIDE CHANGA!
I decided I didn't want a too heavy ratio of spice as I am still fairly inexperienced in hyperspace, I plan on giving the carpet ride a test flight soon, I just have a few things to sort out before I'm ready. I plan on working up slowly with slow tokes to where I want to go and sustaining that for at least an hour or so... ahhh, the magic of changa and harmalas
I have attached a few photos that documented the before and after. Notice the first shot with the bowl of herbals with the red acacia spice on the right and the rue harmine on the left. the second and third shots show the finished changa in vial with my newly purchased glass changa pipe I have affectionately named "Melvin the Martian". (Unfortunately the pictures don't show the beautiful sparkle of the changa in light)
Peace and happy travelling!
