Good idea if one has not the money for VG or GVG. Personally though, I think that travelling in hyperspace is something one should get proper tools for.

The filter/diffuser of the GVG (and VG) is silicon carbide foam of a particular pore density. The filters in your link aren’t silicon carbide, and it’s impossible to say what the pore density might be.

They’re cheap enough, so go for it.
