Making xCaapi Leaf: Best time to add leaf to tea?

Migrated topic.

So lets say you are done with your 3 boils on the leaf/tea and you have now have basically a caapi tea. At what point do you add your leaf to it? Do you boiling the tea down a lot so it is thicker and then add the leaf? Or do you just reduce some, but is still liquid and then add the leaf?

Also, do you do all of this in a pot on the stove or would it work better to add it to a small crock pot on "low" or "keep warm" and let it absorb everything?

Thanks.

Stove top reduce your tea down, way down to just enough left to soak and cover the caapi leaf you are going to infuse.

IME I reduce it down to about 2-4 oz depending on how much caapi leaf you are going to infuse.

Got it.

Now, when you add the leaf, do you leave the heat on? Or do you just put the leaf in there and then take it of the heat and let it air dry/evap?
