I sit and watch a world of the blind, deaf and mislead crashing into each other. War, money, politics and other vial things are all reasons why exploring the inner mind is so important. One cannot understand the filter through which they view the world until it has been shattered. Certain substances have the ability to do this and what can be learned from their effects cannot be learned in any school or by any one being. The bits and pieces of knowledge gained during every experience shows something about reality no matter if what was perceived was real or not.

The word "interest" does not do justice to my infatuation with mind expanding substances, whether it be extraction or the experience.

From the weeks I have spent absorbing the pages and pages of knowledge available on this forum I have discovered that this place is where I want to spend my time, share my ideas, and attempt to put my experiences into words.

I have been a part of many forums and still today active in several. I have never had an issue with moderators and do not have any intention of causing any bad vibrations. I believe that not only do I have something to share with this forum but I feel obligated to do so after all I have already learned from it.

I look forward to joining the advanced discussion

well said openinpadorasbox , this is the first forum i've joined i've tried staying away from the internet as much as possible , however this place is definetly different , i wish the walking Zombies roaming on this planet and forcing it into extinction would learn something from the spirt of this forum and the NEXUS community .
it is indeed very sad to see the planet in a condition like this Global Warming is one thing however in the past year i've come to learn of the pollution in our food industry , milk industry , meat industry , fish , i you are not buying mineral water you are probably drinking water thats polluted with one thing or another . its as if everything around us is polluted and as we eat we are polluted from within .
i wish people would realise the truth and start caring for the real important things than printed paper that is green , i've given up all hope on this for i've been polluted as well within my mind , body and environment all around , i am currently working on unlearning whatever i can so one day i might be cleansed off this pollution

Agreed. Too many sheep AND too many wolves. We got busy bodies everywhere hurrying about their day performing meaningless task after task in order to perpetuate the system. Its a well oiled machine that produces nothing. In today's world real thinkers and explorers of consciousness are outcast in favor of the more "useful" worker drone. Most people I know think on the scale of ants in comparison to the scale of our universe. Its all about getting employee of the month, or meeting their quota or even the country raising its GDP. Its never about understanding life or the importance of actually feeling alive. And as you pointed out rarely do we as a species consider our impact on the world we live in. As long as the wolves tell us its all ok then we go about our business, speaking generally of course.
 
I don't think that anyone is really KNOWINGLY creating the entire system of mental dullment that exists today. We're a lot humans out there and it's impossible for the world to perfect or for everyone to get along and that is VITAL to get to grips with. I think if we all just concentrated on respect and NO ONE had the stupidity to actually go and join the army then we would be ok. Common Sense is what is needed, not swapping the current capitalist neo-liberalist reality with another dull(er) reality. Revolution is not what is needed, Evolution is what is needed. We need to learn that by respecting each other and not going to war (and legalizing all drugs) we would kind of be ok.

hello and welcome! i just joined myself after reading for quite awhile. i completely agree about how wonderful the people here are, and how informative this site is. its very refreshing in this day and age to find a forum like this!
 
Yeah, this is definitely one of the more intellectually exotic boards out there. You should have no problem gaining full membership. You should be satisfied with the mounds of unfiltered and unrestrained information here.
