How does it effect your dreams? I have also wanted to try small doses of mapacho tea for dreaming.
I only noticed it a few times, but I have usually not taken mapacho before bed. When I did notice it, it felt like it was more lifelike. I would think it was real, then i'd wake up and realize it was a dream. I have read a report of mapacho use and dreams, that it made it much more lifelike and coherent. The stories are woven together into a whole much more than your regular dreams.
One very positive thing I have noticed with mapacho, in lower doses, like 100mg, is that after about an hour, I often go into a very serene state, where I am very calm, and while walking outside, I just love to experience nature. There is no need to do anything. Even boring work like washing up is interesting. There is no hurry to be finished to do other things. Just a calm experience of doing something and being content with it. In this state my creative abilities also seems to be enhanced. Maybe it is because my mind is serene and not cluttered with thoughts like it usually is. That is a state I wish I could live in most of the time and something I aspire to achieve.
While in Peru a few years back I talked to this girl from south africa that had drunk mapacho tea 5 times in a ritual setting. She told me that after these experienced she has changed tremendously. No longer was she incessantly thinking. Her mind had become much more serene. This was something friends of her also noticed and told her.

What dosage dagger ? and how do you brew it ?
The strongest mapacho brew I have taken has been 3 gram of mapacho. This did make me nauseated and purged once. It may be that the brew had weakened over the several months in the fridge. However, I would
strongly advice against starting at this dosage level before you know your mapacho. Some mapacho may be much stronger than the one I have, I doubt mine was even close to 20%. In fact I have one in storage that had a much stronger fragrance, it feels like it is soaked in nicotine. I have yet to try it.
My suggestion would be to start low, like 50mg, then work your way upward. Mapacho is known to contain up to 20% nicotine and be deadly at 50mg, which could theoretically make it deadly at 250mg...
In lower doses it is not to bad to drink it, but the nicotine has a burning feeling on your tongue, especially if you let it sit there for a little bit instead of swallowing it directly.
To brew it I just cook it for 30 minutes, twice. Nothing complicated. Maybe add a little bit of vinegar.
I have never smoked tobacco. So I am careful not to drink mapacho too often, preferably not more than twice a week. Not noticed any addictive tendencies so far.
