me magic man! me gualapa!
Hey everybody,
I'm gualapa! Gualapa = magic man. Got the name from the film Australia. there's an Australian aboriginal kid in the movie that says "me magic man! me gualapa!" using english + his native language. Might not be insanely cool or clever but I like it and it works. And if you haven't seen the film, it was great as I remember it, though it was long.
Anyways, I came to DMT Nexus after lurking around a number of sites as a guest through google. DMT Nexus seems like the best place for people talking about dmt and the forums seem to have a friendlier, laid back attitude than what most forums do. Forums like this are hard to come by, and I've had my share of forum experiences in the past (though I don't spend as much time on the computer as I used to).
I'm going to be asking a lot of questions, especially with regards to extraction and related topics. I'm a complete newbie to dmt but I've been trying to do a lot of research before I get my hands in the mix. I'm very thorough so you'll probably get annoyed by some of the seemingly obvious questions I ask but I promise it's for my own good and I'd like to do things right so I can gain as much as I can from experience, rather than failing with the smaller things.
My views... you will probably find many things you disagree with but I just speak my mind and once I go down this road, I travel the distance:
I'm very interested in dmt (oh really?!), but haven't yet had a go at it; I've had experience with LSD many times and shrooms quite a few times; at some point I'll be trying some cacti. And of course cannabis & salvia; I have quite a bit of knowledge in the cannabis field compared to most people but no longer smoke 3 or 4 times a day, I grew out of that phase in my life rather quickly. I'm only interested in natural psychedelics since they are the best for many reasons; of course LSD is semi-synthetic but I've only used LSD to gain knowledge on the substance and I've concluded it's just an efficient (might not be the best word) version of psilocybin, it's definitely not better than and in my mind nor equal to psilocybin. I've had too many jitters in the come-up and the missing elements makes it less appealing to me. Also, I have never once come across an altered or synthetic substance that is better than a natural substance. Nature/life produced humans, dmt, cannabis, shrooms, food, animals, everything! I see society as a recreation of nature so that man can control over things it can't in its natural environment. We had light bulbs to mimic the sun so we can do shit at night and wake up later; we have waste management to clean up after ourselves while nature automatically decomposes its trash and produces useful things from it (fossil fuels); we have a government which is otherwise absent in nature to impose our own laws vs the "laws" of nature.
Anyways, that's just my view of nature vs. man-made crap. Everybody should get a glimpse at someone else's point of view in order to challenge their own theories and ideas. I'm a big believer in living life through yourself, so things like religion don't play any part in my life. I respect it to a degree but have seen it do enough damage to the world (both the West & the East) and in most cases it just seems to label things in order for people who don't understand the unexplained things around them; and in many cases that serves people's greed for knowledge. I'd rather live my life as it is rather than pretend society is all that exists. Life is amazing, ineffable. What other planets are thriving in life as rich as Earth? We're pretty dam lucky if you ask me. Unfortunately, we act more like a bacteria (thanks to Joe Rogan for naming what I've been trying to describe in my mind for a while) and just as mold slowly takes over bread, humanity will eventually take over and consume the Earth.
However, humanity's unique consciousness or abilities or whatever you want to call it + the ability for us to come together on something can allow us to alter our future. We don't need to destroy every piece of land and cover it with cement until we no longer have any thriving life on Earth. We can try to slow our shit down and slowly become more and more sustainable. But to do that people have to focus far less on greed and hostility. Living with less is living with more. You can't live through a tv, you can't live through an iPhone, you can't live through a car (if you're an enthusiast, that's different but there are still greener hobbies out there ), but oddly enough you can live through your soul, your heart, your mind, and your body. That's the way I see it.
Since substances like shrooms, LSD, canabis, cacti, & DMT have the power to alter one's mind substantially through the experience & exposure of previously unseen things or thoughts, I believe these substances can have a substantial role in changing the hostile course of humanity. You may say cannabis won't do shit for you but my finding of cannabis alone changed my direction completely in life, both because it exposed me to the psychedelic world as well as the realization of all the BS surrounding it. By the time I came about LSD, it was interesting but I didn't really need it to find anything out. I already developed that thinking capacity and I wish more people would use the part of their brains where they figure shit out on their rather basing things of their needs & greeds. After lucy, I decided to switch over to shrooms as I've always wanted to, but even with shrooms my only interest is to have a fun, fulfilling, beautiful experience. With DMT, I hope to experience quite more than that- "that" being the beauty and the astonishment gained because of it as well as other things we take in from a psychedelic experience.
Anyways, I've probably filled my my mug past its brim so I'll stop there. I didn't come to these forums to contemplate my views or ideas, I just felt the need to share them since I'll be talking plenty enough about DMT in these forums.
Thanks for watching,
gualapa!
P.S. Everytime I do anything that's considered illegal in my home country I travel to a land of unknown origin where all things and ideas are free & legal, then I travel back to my country. Peace!
