Ideally, next to water of course, methanol would be the best alcohol to pull the natural salts of mescaline from plant material, correct?
I want to avoid the hassle of goop/swelling with water making a tea, but don't think iso is a very effective way to make resin. I can't get ethanol, but methanol is available. I also know its the most polar of the alcohols, so should be a better solvent than etoh, iso, and most of all acetone. I understand how careful you have to be with methanol and am confident i can handle it safely.
The plan is to base the resin with caoh and pull with acetone then fasa it to get the fumarates. Whether i do it via a tea resin, or methanol resin. I was just wondering if anyone had any expirence doing this, or if my speculations about the viability of using methanol are correct.
Thanks-
