blessings, this info and perspective will serve some. i care not if you care for this, but i have to share it now.

a compulsion found me to transcibe recent thoughts

1. wachuma is the highest vibrational medicine, others complicate and lessen the vibration

2. use of tobacco and palo santo protect the vibrations of the drinker, creating a barrier so wachuma can be more fully experienced

3. the inhalation of smokes lower the vibration of one who drinks wachuma

4. all animals, and totems, are fractals of the dragon

5. chaupin is a portal, chavin

6. chaupin means the center of the center. cha cosmic, au universe (or something close) pin is point or center. its like if you have a circle inside a circle inside a circle

7. chakana means cosmic bridge, cha is cosmos, kana is bridge

8. wachuma is the chakana

9. chaupin is over 5 thousand years old

10. modern local mythology suggest cheapen was built by "self sustaining reptillian people", according to accounts from a few local medicine people

11. the plazas in chaupin were filled with water to reflect the stars and sun. like mirrors facing each other they created an infinite perspective

12. chaupin is an energy machine, harnessing and directing

13. chaupin is a female activated place, men protect the priestess

14. there are 2 rivers that intersect by design under the construction. those rivers are Huanchecsa, river of knowledge, and the mosna, river of life

15. the rivers were moved to intersect under the lanzon, the center of the chaupin design

16. our diets have closed our chakanas

17. wachuma opens the chakanas

18. there were no sacrifices or bodies-mummies found in chaupin

19. "wach" means remove "uma" means head. wachuma means to remove the head. iconography suggests some practicioners cut off their heads, perhaps literally since they were so full of spirit they needed not the mind or ego. no one can truly say now if its just a metaphor of spirit or more. theres a broad diversity in quechua and its possible that it has more than one definition.

20. anka is falcon, hunter of the sky and day

21. amaru is the snake, bringer of information

22. uturunku is the jaguar, hunter ground and night

23. sachamama is the rainbow, a two headed snake

24. each sylable in quechua is a vibrational meaning, each sound carries intention.

25. tupac amaru is the head of the snake that brings info, go figure (atleast as i understand)

26. nina is fire in quechua

27. tamia is rain in quechua

28. wayki is brother in quechua

29. wasi is big house in quechua

30. runa is man in quechua

Interesting stuff. I take it you've been back to Chavin? I'm really hoping to finally make it this summer. I'd love to hear anything else you know about it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Thanks for the advice Mew. I'll remember those names. I can't wait to go there. I've been dreaming of it for years now! Are you likely to be there this summer?

I regret so much to not have gone to Chavin, hopefully next year.

Mew, did you manage to do a ceremony inside? Did you get in contact with some local shamans?

Blessings,

to clear things up
Bursera graveolens is the palo santo i was referencing, i accidentally misspelled it previously

yes I've had 8 ceremonies in the temple. 1 at night

i drank a lot with esteban, a local guide for the temple gone huachuma practitioner. he's like a brother and welcomes you all to come participate in ceremony

I've made brews from 6 different local cacti, they're all incredibly different

I'm going to be taking my leave of chavin for a while, and am traveling to matucana to work with the local cacti there

ill return to chavin in the upcoming visits and may even have a hostel that id be severing huachuma at.
it would be really helpful if i was contacted prior so i could manage things a bit more.

on a sad note...
most of the people currently in chavin who sell huachuma tea have superficial motivation (theres only 4 besides myself). i don't want to name names but i can only recommend esteban to be of pure intent. when I'm not there to service y'all, he will.

I'm incredibly happy to hear that the passion for cactus exists beyond my flesh. please come and connect. ill be backin 8 months ill be back in peru/south america for another go
