Microdosing Ayahuasca analogues with Iboga

I'm microdosing iboga rootbark and also Syrian Rue + Acacia Confusa. Took the iboga midday, the Aya analogue about 12 hours later at night.

Has anyone had any experience with this unlikely combination? Hazards? Bad experiences? Problems? Glowing experiences?

Anecdotally I also had a micro of said plant along with rue and acrb. The amounts were so small I had no fear of anything sketchy occuring.

I had an intense and subtle (funny to use those two words/qualities together lol) connection to the iboga spirit. It was the first time it came to me and probably not the last.

Wondering why you're doing this? Are you still? What did you learn or gain?

Because I found benefits to both, providing equally important yet different, irreplaceable health benefits (holistic, including spiritual, mental, and emotional health)

No, I'm not doing it anymore. But I'm glad you responded to this thread, it reminded me that it's safe, and I could probably do more.

Doing more cactus these days. 🌵

No--The full flood was with a sitter, and the half flood was kind of a mistake... lol--no sitter on that one.
Also, the full flood was my first foray into it and woooooo that was more intense than I was prepared for.

That is amazing. Do you have a write up on your experience?

What was your reasoning for embarking upon this remarkably potent plant teacher?

Kind of a mistake?!? 😂

Wow. Absolutely incredible. Thank you for sharing your testimony.

Quite a few people exist that are incredibly polarized against people doing this medicine as people like you did. The same goes for Ayahuasca though. I get it. I respect the traditions, I do. Though the first human to ingest iboga certainly didn't do it in any specific way shape or form, did they?

Anyways, what an incredible experience you had. It reminds me of the other long form testimony I read on erowid. Particularly the part of going in and out of dreams that seemed real, life time review type stuff, and a coming of age ritual.

A full flood varies per body weight, yes? I reckon a full flood is in the realm of 40g of bark, a half would be 20g. I have read excellent reports from 10g and even less. If I were to I would certainly first go light and work my way upward if needed.

I appreciate your dietary and sexual preparation. I feel too it is important.

Well, they have the right to their own opinions I guess, but ultimately we all have the freedom to do what we want. I think "people" that are against "people" who take the medicine out of the traditional cultural context are generalizing "people" into one category of people, probably based on negative assumptions. We're all different. Just because we're not doing it in a traditional way doesn't mean we're disrespecting the culture.

I've heard some traditional people say that Westerners have it hard enough as it is, especially the sick ones--they don't need to plop down thousands for a plane ticket, fly halfway around the world, and submit themselves to a likely very different culture and test their corporeal limits on top what they're already going through.

The medicine is sacred and powerful and I gather that most of the tradition-holders are just happy that it's getting out there and helping people in need.
