Hello all! My name is Thiago!
I have a very deep respect for hallucinogens. I despise using the term 'drugs' when referring to them due to the negative connotations and stigma placed upon the term by Western culture.
The reason I even hold an interest in psychedelics dates far back into my childhood. As a child (and to this very day) I enjoyed playing Final Fantasy, owning 1-10. I recall the exact moment that ties into my hallucinogenic interest and subsequently led me to wonder if there is anything greater out there in the world.
Final Fantasy VIII. Upon completing the mission in Dollet and speaking to Headmaster Cid, and acquiring the Magical Lamp. Its only description was "Save your game before you use this!". I had not saved my game for hours and my entire party was down to maybe 50 HP each. I did not heed the warning. Instantly, I was transported to a dark voidlike dimension where I was greeted by what appeared to be Satan himself, who unleashed complete and utter destruction upon my party, leaving me to go WTFWTFWTF for the rest of the day and wondering "Is there anything out there in the world that can do such a thing to me?"
Then I found out about Dimethyltryptamine.
My reason in joining is because, though I have not yet gone through a pure DMT experience (my closest thing to a DMT trip was with anadenanthera peregrina/yopo snuff), it is to me the perfect experience which I seek. To be instantly transported to another realm... to explore these dimensions it holds. Every day, I look forward to the day when I may finally experience it. For now, I hope to gain as much knowledge and prepare myself for the trip as much as I can. I hope the denizens of the dmt-nexus can help me.
Until then though, I utilize weed, DXM, LSA, and Salvia in conjunction with meditation.
I also have a gift for everyone on the DMT-Nexus! I am a very music-oriented person and have been creating music for years. One of my recent albums is a dreamscape-like ambient album intended to accompany all hallucinogenic voyages. It is entitled "Ethos" and is available for free download for all travellers.
