Mineral Spirits? I can't find Naphtha locally.

Is there a major difference? will Mineral Spirits pull just as well and evaporate 100%?

I had to google to find out what mineral spirits were. It's what I know as "white spirit". It apparently isn't very good for extraction, and doesn't always evaporate cleanly. you'd need to check up on the specific brand you buy. I wouldn't really advise using white spirit unless it's really necessary.

You know lighter fluid is naphtha yeah? Not sure where you're from, but here in the UK lighter fluid (naphtha) is available for about £2 per 200ml in every little corner shop (and of course the big supermarkets). The stuff you use to fill a zippo lighter.

I have some ronsonol lighter fluid. I did a test an it evaporates with no film later left behind. that will work?

Used zippo premium lighter fluid for my first extraction but its too expensive where i live and cant be bought in bigger quantities. So i switched to surgical spirit/rubbing alcohol which is available as petroleum ether and can be bought in every pharmacy or drug store.
1 or 5 liter cans (content: Naphtha, written on it)

Rubbing alcohol and petroleum ether are completely different things. Rubbing alcohol is isopropyl alcohol and can't be used for this type of extraction. The solvent needs to be non-polar, rubbing alcohol is polar (all alcohols are). Petroleum ether is, well... basically just lighter fluid afaik.

Oh well, lost in translation i guess. Petroleum ether & rubbing alcohol is what the translator gave me when i typed in "Medizinalbenzin" which is essentially med-grade naphtha.

Hehe... nah never trust the translators. Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) is entirely different from petroleum ether (naphtha)
