Hypothetically speaking, if a changa blend was being made with everclear, and the vessel broke while warming and mixing so that the mixed material (caapi, other herbs, everclear and product) were now part of the warm water bath being used to warm the mix, could this soup be re-basified with lye and some product recovered using typical naphtha A/B process?

It's been a rough morning. Appreciate any advice!

I think you could just re acidify with a acid of you're choosing then pull the solvent used to make you're blend then re-basify then pull with fresh naps !

That's what I'd do ! I could be wrong so don't take this as a 100% advise !

how much of a water bath was being used? you might benefit from reducing the solution. id assume it would work. let us know what you did. how much dmt was lost, and how much recovered, it might be interesting to see how much you lose (or dont lose) for comparison with extractions and actual %dmt present in plant material

Will do. It filled a large mason jar, so within normal extraction parameters. I didn't try to remove the alcohol, it wasn't much and probably evaporated quickly when it hit the water is my theory. Basified the mess and will measure things as I recover.

Well the soup looks like a fine creamy Italian dressing........with a layer of green naphtha as the oil top. Will see what the first pull brings, maybe the green will be lucky?

There was a shit fight a couple a days ago about the green dmt !! Lol :p funny thread

Recovered roughly 70% of the alkaloids in 6 pulls, although there may be some harmalas in there too? Final product was more grayish/yellow than original orangish/red goo, and the first pull especially produced a crustier feeling product when scraped from the plate. Going to be away for a week before I can do anything with this, but I am hopeful the next batch will be very special.
