I read about this plant in few places and its mentioned as having ergine and being psychoactive.
In Garden of Eden it says that indians use leaves to increase their virility. Most reports concern the root of plant for psychoactive purposes.
There was one guy on reddit who said that he chews few leaves for a happy feeling that lasts about 30 minutes to an hour. Other did CWE with the root and if I understood correctly again with leaves and flowers.
Now I'm 99% sure that I have correct plant. But my experience is different.
I took the plant near the road, "stole it", few branches and brought it home. I washed it with cold water, and than broke stems and leaves with my hands and put it in a pot.
To get the feel of plant I licked my fingers and rest of plant matter. In few minutes I got burning sensation in my mouth.
Later I find plant also contains saponins and other not so good stuff.
It's either from polutants from the cars, or its the saponins and other stuff.
I didn't find any mention of burning sensation in any trip reports. Maybe I should have put the unbroken plant in cold water?
