Mouldy Acacia bark

Hey peeps, very new to this all and have already got a question.
I have some acacia acuminata bark it is slightly mouldy. Its not fully consumed or anything, just that mould smell and small patches. Can this be saved? I was thinking of soaking it in straight vinegar as a way to preserve it somewhat, and I'm hoping it won't really affect the process. Cheers in advance for any wisdom that can be shared

Copy and pasted from another thread..

"Conduct an A/B on it still. . I'd then add a generous amount of vinegar, boil vigorously and filter meticulously. Then proceed as a normal A/B. Defat your solution to scrub it of any potential naptha soluble impurities from the mould. Make basic, pull with NP solvent. Rinse your solvent thoroughly with basic water before crystallization. Then thorough cleaning/recrystallizing of your (hopefully) extract afterwards."

Thats really helpful, thank you. I hate to be the person who does no research before asking a question but i was struggling to find anything, appreciated
