Multiple extractions from base

Hey Guys,
So I managed (finally) after some hiccups to extract 0.7g of spice from 100g of powdered bark.
I've read people get upwards of 1.8g in total.
If I did another round what do you think I'd be looking at in terms of extracted spice on subsequent pulls?
I'm guessing it a case of diminishing returns, but worth another go, multiple go's?

I mean obviously I'm probably never going to use all I have, but would be a shame to waste it.

extraction.jpgSorry for the waffling about my journey with extraction, finding it pretty fascinating so sorry if I'm going over things well trodden.
So here's my first pull on the left followed by a clean-up comparison on the right.
(rh was the first pulls outcome dissolved in warm naptha then recrystalised)
The second lot is much whiter (less yellow) and much more uniform and smaller in size.
I guess the 'seeds' (impurities) in the first extraction gave the crystals a head start hence the larger size and variety in sizes.
There was a small amount of residue after second dissolve in naptha.

Found it interesting how raw/dirty the first lot was, good recommendation for a second pull if you ask me.
(both pulls were done in same freezer and same time freezing, amount of naptha etc)

I guess it’s about how wel the first couple of pulls went and if you where successful in depleting the soup, what you could do is to really deplete your bark and learn the maximum yield that is possible. Then when you’re doing the next batch you know when to stop. Another factor you can play with is heat and how it will affect the color and consistency of your product.

Haha yes almost forgot about that bit! Just trying to pick the right 'moment'!
 
In my experience it will present itself rather sooner than later, especially when smelling some crisp and fresh DMT, anyway I’m not sure if it’s a new thing, but starting low and slow is the way to go.

0.7% is a reasonable, if underwhelming, yield. It really depends on the content of the bark - you can't extract what ain't there. The product itself looks very nice!
We are all for discussion of an extraction journey, so waffle all you like in that respect.

You'd likely increase your yield somewhat with a third pull, and maybe a fourth one if that one yielded similar to the first two. How did the amounts of the first two pulls compare? If they are practically identical there's a far chance there's more to be had from the base soup yet.
