Light Defraction Glassses.

I cannot tell you how amazingly fun these are. I don't have what kind of substance you are on, throw on a pair of light defraction glasses, and let the tripping of bawls commence.

I have used these glasses (which were given to me by a physics teacher. Just cardboard cutout glasses with the light defraction cellophane stuff for lenses) with nitrous, cannabis, and salvia. All of theses experiences were spent in the dark, looking at nothing other than the glowing lights on my christmas tree. The rainbows that the glasses created had me in utter amazement, and I was consumed by the sheer beauty of it all.

Highly Recommended.

Next time your tripping, grab a pair of these glasses and hold on, because you will surely know what the "light" is all about.

Oh yeah...

This is old school. Good old fashioned low tech tripper's toy.

They used to sell them (with various twists) at head shops and I knew a number of trippers who carried a pair in the pocket any time we would head out into the mysterious ineffable. They were fairly commonly strewn on the coffee tables of space cadets in decades past.

Somehow, I think with the high tech graphics and devices people have at their disposal now, these old school (low tech) ideas have gotten left behind. Everyone has their kaleidoscopic screen savers and music visualizations. But light refraction film, old school kaleidoscopes, prisms, lava lamps and the rest are still tres groovy.

I personally recommend the light & sound brain machines. I got into brainwave entrainment in the early 80's and never looked back. I bought a Procyon AVS when my ancient SuperMind finally gave up the ghost. If you only know the audio brainwave part... do yourself a big favor and try out the light goggles. They can make you trip while dead sober... just imagine how effective they are when you're altered.

If you enjoy the light refraction... you will go ape shit over sound and light brainwave entrainment.

Peace.

Agreed. I found the diffraction glasses cool back in the day but quickly got bored with it because the patterns are relatively static. When I got my Halcyon L&S machine I was blown away at the variety of complex, changing psychedelic patterns and deep theta states it could put me into while sober.

I've probably become a little technologically "spoiled" but I used to entertain myself for hours with simple perception-altering things. I used to hold prisms over my eyes and walk around my house, imagining it was a different dimension! Also, I would hold a big mirror out in front of me facing upwards, then looking down into the mirror I would walk around.

Try it sometime, it's really trippy.:)

It's good to alter your perception and open up your creativity.

i recently added to my tool kit with some good cheap fun

Star creating lamp which beams a star scene all around your room. It also has a flashing coloured LED setting which is crazy.

I picked up all these lovely psychedelic toys for £20. If you pass a B&M at least stop and pick up the colour changing cubes, they are special.
