Hi,
I buy some caapi leaf and made a little changa, but there's a easy way to see if my caapi leaf it's active ? i don't want to try yet with spice, i want to be sure that it's active before.

I can try to use alone and see if give me effect ? or there are other ways ?

Thanks

Caapi leaf is definitely active. If you smoke some by itself you will likely feel a buzz but I've had people say that they felt no effects from smoking caapi whilst I do so your mileage may vary. For me personally I've never had caapi leaf that's not active in changa. Alternatively you can smoke a little without caapi then add a bit of caapi and test the differences but without doing some kind of test it's kind of hard to determine potency imo.

Just a side note if you haven't got any maois in there it's not changa it's infused leaf. Infuse some spice onto caapi leaf and you've got a basic changa mix!

Caapi leaf has always been very active for me.

I'll either grind the leaves up, removing the stems and roll in a joint or i'll do a couple 1-hour boils on 5-6g of leaf, reduce and drink.

Thanks,

I made a 10x water extract and infused some spice and others herbs, very little quantity, so this should be changa.

But i want to test the caapi itself before, so if i smoke a little of 10X extract i can better judge if it's active than the leaf itself.

I would like to start trying my little changa knowing that it's all active, if possible, i'm not in a right mental situation for try spice alone or changa, i need to pass time and do it when i fell it, in the meanwhile i would like to have all the necessary and practice with extractions, maoi, blends, etc etc...for me it's funny just this for now :)

Bye
