my extraction experience

hello everyone, new to the forum, love it here!! currently finishing up my first extraction of DMT using Q21s vinegar/lime/naptha tek, using 1kilo of powdered MHRB, 100g's at a time. the results were amazing!!! i followed the tek almost word for word except i used 125ml vinegar and 75ml boiling water, and about 100g of lime instead of the 75g's that it calls for. my final yield was about 12g's of nice fluffy white spice, and another 2g's or so of yellow, tan, red, and brown goopy stuff that did harden into nice potent little chunks!!!

i decided to rextalize the hardened goop with a small amount of naptha and got about a gram of nice fluffy white spice!!! happy about that, i took a gram of the white stuff and rextalixe that, and got about 0.8g's of even whiter spice!!! gotta say i love rextallization!!!

doing further research i learned about growing large, clear crystals. all the info i gathered led me on a search for heptane (bestine), but i cant seem to find it locally and dont want to order solvents online. does anyone know where to find it or know of a solvent that would work to rextallize white spice into nice clear geometric crystals? the naptha just gives me a white coating, or little snowflakes at best.

also i have saved all my MHRB/vinegar/lime sludge as i feel there is still more DMT and other active compounds, and it is bone dry now. should i treat is as new MHRB and do the whole tech again to see what i can squeeze out?? or should i just add some water and maybe a bit more lime and do more pulls?? or is there another method to get the last bit out that i dont know about??

ill be posting pictures very soon, waiting on a flash drive to transfer pictures. id love to talk with others who have experience with this!!!
 
i started with a 1 kilo, but didnt use it all at once, id do my extractions with 100g's at a time, it took about a month to cycle thru the whole kilo, if i had bigger containers and equipment i would have like do do one big batch!!

Have thought about Limonene. Limonene is not so selective, it will pull some other alkaloids but if you got your dmt out already Limonene will not help you. So if you after pure dmt then I guess your work is done. You can try to do one last pull with naphtha for that kilo I would use around 400ml. If you do not get anything out of it, then thats it.

sorry, having some trouble with my old camera and laptop and havent been able to post the pics yet.. i still feel that with a stronger solvent or with a different tek i should be able to pull more from the sludge, even if its not pure white stuff, i really want to get every last active out of it!!!
 
Congratulations on your extractions!

Just so you know, extracting large quantities is frowned upon. It implies the dmt may be....duhn duhn duhn (shark attack noises)... for sale. Which is beyond frowned upon. no selling thread

Anyway, if you're looking for long term storage of all that spice, check into converting some of it to dmt fumarate. Its a salt form that apparently keeps well over long periods of time.

If you have a JoAnne's Fabrics, or Michael's craft store in your town, Heptane is sold as brand name Bestine for all sorts of crafting purposes... I'm not sure where/if you checked with either of these kinds of places, but I actually found it at a Fabric Store where I live.
 
spice for sale???? not in my world!!! like i said i got the kilo and processed it 100grams at a time, and then combined all the spice together for further recrystalization. its better for me to process all my materials in a short time so that i dont have equipment all over my kitchen all the time!!

so anyway ive been doing recrystallization, starting with the white spice, and getting back super pure white fluffy spice. i really want to grow larger crystals tho, but im having trouble finding bestine.

is there a tek about converting the white spice into dmt fumarate???
 
fumarates arent exactly what i had in mind... that being said, if white spice is in a sealed glass container and kept a bit below room temperature in a dark cabinet, about how long is the shelf life?? would that be longer if it was stored in the fridge or freezer? i want to keep it as white spice so when i get some bestine i can rex and hopefully get clear geometric crystals!!

Any update on this? Is converting freebase to DMT fumerate the only acknowledged solution for long-term storage?

Well, as far as I know. And from what I've read, its super easy to convert it back an forth.

I mean, I've had freebase in a jar for 8 months and haven't noticed a large difference in the potency. But that's just my experience.

so i had to leave my house for a couple weeks. stored all my white spice in a little airtight jar and put it in a cool dark cabinet. i was in the process of a rex an a gram of white spice, decided to just leave the sealed precipitation jar with the saturated naptha in the freezer. im hoping for an amazing surprise when i get back, but im wondering if leaving it in the solvent in the freezer for 3 weeks might have been a bad idea...
 
finally got some pics :d first pic is what i got after finishing all my pulls and freeze precipitating, pretty nice looking, not quite white tho, and lots of brown goo on my razors. second pic is after 2x naptha rex, then 1x bestine rex.

i got recrystalazation down pretty well now, but i just cant get any crystal formations besides the white snowflakes. is there any specific way to promote clear geometric crystals?? would the size and shape of the precipitation container affect crystal shape?? i hope phlux sees this thread and shares some info with me, the pics from this thread just some xtals - Advanced/Enhanced chemistry - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus are what inspired me to rex in the first place!!
