My first a/B extraction

Hi fellow travellers. I am a compmlete noob on dmt extraction, but got a kg of fine shredded mhrb recently. Experimented on 2 small extraction on 100g bark. First Try didnt to to well, but The second Try went ok. Got about 0.9%.

I am rather busy these days, so i decided to make a batch that Will last ned a while, and i like to share with selected friends.
So to prepare for my Next batch, i have read almost every tek i could find, including discussions. I know now which mistakes i did, and feel i got The theories coveree. So decided to do The last 800g with a/B extraction.

I have mainly used marsfolds tek, with some alterations, and would like to get some feedback from The society about my method on extraction, what could be done better?

First i put The bark finely shredded as is in a ss pot, added water covering The bark well and adjusted The ph to 3.8 with Citric acid (canna ph- for hydroponic grow, found in most growshops. Cheaper and no odor)

I heated The mix om The stove, let IT cool and put in The freezer.
Thawed and freezed once more.

Then boiled The mix for 3 hours, water filtered and put in a bottle.
Repeated this 2 more times with new ph adjusted water.

Atter 3 cooks, i had 5.5 litres, which were reduced to 1.5 L , simmering at 80-90 C.

Added 150g lye in 0.5l water, added to The tea to get pH at 13.
Shaked well for 10 minutes. Mix is now about 45C
Added 300ml Coleman camping fuel, heated to 70C

Shaked well for 10 minutes, let IT separate, then shake for 5 min, sit 30 minutes, then pulling The solvent to a pyrex baking tray.

Will repeat 3 more times. I have made 2 pulls, which i have reduced to 200 ml. The crystals were showing after a few minutes in Room temp, see lmages. just put The tray in The freezer.

Pulk 3 & 4 Will be freezed separate, to check if there is any in The last pull.

Is this extraction method ok? Any tips, thoughts or improvements Are most welcome.

Everything seems ok with what you plan.
Be aware of if you f*** this extraction, everything will be gone ..
it's better advised to manage small scale extractions, if something goes not as you want, you may have another trial.

I now understand The chemistry happening in deem extraction, so i am pretty sure i Will get some results, but i probably Can Refine this method of extraction to perfection, hence this post.

Since there is time consuming to do an extraction, i choose to do large batches. I plan to do an e-cig test, experiment with different changa mixed, and promised a good friend a gram. So i choose to do big.

The third pull went in The freezer last night, there is a Nice amounts of Crystal today , but Will let IT stay there for another 24 hours.

Just to be sure, and to check if there is any Crystal left, i made a fifth boil in acid and then put The sludge in a blender for finer bark, then added lye and naftha. Will shake it daily for a weekend before' pulling.

Will post images and results of pulls 1-3 tomorrow.

First 2 pulls scraped and weighed.
Slightly Yellow crystals, very fluffy.
Looking forward to test them, but first air dry for a few hours.

Last 2 pulls resulted in .8 g, so about 7.1 g in total. 0.9% in first real attempt on av extraction
Still got The slush to pull, but dont have any expextations.
Might be that The bark is average. Anyway satisfied with The result.

Did a pull on The slush leftovers yesterday. Got 800 mg but much more Yellow than The first pulls. 7.9 g so far, and about 1% yield. Doing another pull on The slush in 14 days.

Should i Re x, or leave IT AS is?
