REPORT

My first DMT experience. I was sitting down in the livingroom, after being asked if I knew how to freebase my guide came up with a better idea. After packing a designated waterpipe with cannabis she had sprinkled the greenish compound onto the the herb. I had hit it first, taking a long slow pull while first heating the stem with a torch lighter. before releasing the carb I had exhaled, ignited the DMT and cannabis and took another slow puff. I released the carb and held the hit for what seemed like 45 seconds. By the time I had exhaled I was losing feeling all over my body, and the visual effects came almost simultaneously. I couldn't help but close my eyes as I set the bong down and leaned back into the cushions.

And then I was there at the membrane. at first the visuals were very geometric. Many patterns and colors were ones I had seen before but never in the same experience, all working together. I had reached out to touch the patterns as I had almost completely forgotten that I had taken the DMT, and there was a ripple when my fingertips made contact with the layer before me.

It started to concave and I could feel my being pulled into some kind of wormhole, out of fear, I had opened my eyes and everything was before me just as it had been. Nothing had changed, my guide was waiting patiently beside me as I closed them again.

By the time my mind could refurbish what I had almost thrown out of my journey, I remembered being pulled into the new space. It must have already finished because I could no longer feel the inertia in my gut. There was a tree, looking slightly animated.
I could see my hands and my body but I could not move them at all. instead when I had tried to move or speak the tree would wave and shake. words in fine white script began to blossom all over the tree and fell infinitely down once completed.

As I grew more and more comfortable with my hallucinations I tried speaking with my mind. Instead of taking the suggestions ( as I experience with lsd, I am more able to control my experience ) the hallucination would answer my thoughts. respond in conversation. I had come to the conclusion that I was communicating with some form of super-ego.

But before I could ask my first sincere question to the tree of life, my visions fleeted. The tree had vanished and I was back at the gate. I had tried to touch the slimy and fluorescent wall again but nothing happened. I opened my eyes and the remaining visuals were minor fractals with a few reoccurring dream characters making appearances in my peripherals.

While having a pleasant time, I feel like the moment of fear where I retreated from what I was seeing lost me valuable time with a being greater than myself, or perhaps within myself.

My best advice? Don't look back.

Very well written v.oid.. Sounds like a good first voyage indeed, hopefully more to follow. There is no looking back after a DMT trip, it's all very much a healing process.
Peace and Love,
Buji
