Hello, I have just joined and I will introduce myself. I am a real questioner, love asking questions because I thinking the very dynamic of asking questions keeps ya fluid and undermines strict rigid authoritarian structures from stopping the flow of inquiry.
I am very interested in looking at mythologies, because stories we get told and tell ourselves often drive our interpretation of reality and our actions. So I like to look to the roots of them, and terms we use etc. A very influential book for me is The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross--as it is THE book which revealed to me how mythology, in its written form is composed of layers, the surface for the uninitiated of the religion and the core layer for the initiated.
I am really interested in where do we go from here? What does it mean eg psychedelic experience meeting science...
