I had more guitars in the past, but currently I have a Breedlove Organic Solo Pro Concert CE Nylon Acoustic, a PRS SE Hollowbody II, and a Taylor 514ce V-Class. Recently I’ve been playing an hour or two per day on my new PRS which is my newest guitar. Getting my hands and fingers back in shape. It's been a long time since playing an electric guitar, and I'm really loving my first real hollowbody experience. I used to mostly play on a very heavy solid body Gibson Les Paul Studio that was like 15lbs and it really hurt my shoulder playing it strapped. I like this PRS better. Lighter, and it's also interesting to play with the hollowbody tones and manipulate the borderline feedback that comes from it plugged in. Trying to get back to where I used to be in guitar playing fluency.
The Taylor and the PRS stay in tune and intonate accurately. The Breedlove's intonation is a bit off so it takes some compromise tuning it, but it's still useful to have, especially since nylon strings are easiest on the fingers when they are beat up from playing the other guitars.
On the PRS and Taylor you'll see the custom truss rod covers ( ☯︎ & ॐ ) I just put on them.
Also a picture of the peddles I go into from the guitar that then lead into Guitar Rig 7 on my PC here at home.
The video is a recorded live jam from 2001 with 2 brothers, myself, and a friend. I was playing on the Wine Red Gibson Les Paul Studio pictured at the beginning of the video. We may get back together for some new jamming, and I hope I can come through for them and be musically inclined. I have a hard time ever remembering or playing things the same way via composition, and have only been able to catch some waves of flow state via jamming.
