In order for anything to exist, so must it's oppos
Hi there, this is my first post on here and i'm a little bit at a loss of things to say... but here it goes....
Just as a bit of background, SWIM used to smoke cannabis relatively often and has not been much of a drinker because SWIM never saw the point in taking something which (by his own confession) makes him act like a complete moron. SWIM only ever drink alcohol in certain environments and is not much of a 'let's stay in and have a few' drinker. A few months ago SWIM was introduced to the world of phychadelics in the form of LSD. Before this point SWIM's ideas of the realm of psychadelic substances were just regurgitations of the misinformation which had been fed to him. Long story short, SWIM ended up trying a dose at a friends house and didn't understand why there was such a stigma attatched to psychadelics when, in his opinion, they allow you to see the world through a new pair of eyes and appreciate the beauty we take for granted while society nurtures our fetish for material possessions.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that psychadelics are a panacea. But entering these altered states can offer great insights about what is wrong with us on a fundamental level if these substances are used with respect and good intentions. SWIM is looking forward to educating himself further on his journey through this life.
Now, the bit that i am here for. I had been doing a lot of research into 'the spirit molecule' (quotation marks are there just because the documentary is actually what originally sparked my interest) and all about the pineal gland and spirituality in general coincidentally. A month ago, SWIM's guy for LSD (who he had many conversations about the mystery of being) called him up and said that he stumbled across some DMT and said SWIM should definitely try some. SWIM felt as though this was something he had to do and felt like he knew what he was doing and understood that this was in a different league to anything he has ever tried before.
SWIM went and picked up 35mg and hurried home. He had read quite a lot about the effects so was quite comfortable doing it alone as he doesn't usually have any panic attacks and will probably stay in bed, but if something did happen people were nearby. He packs a bowl on top of ash as advised while video chatting with a friend who was also very interested in this substance but has never tried. SWIM takes it in three hits. 1st: 'something is different but don't stop'. 2nd: 'this is a little crazy'. 3rd: 'wow, everything is going insane, where am i? did that just? am i still holding my breath?'. SWIM blows out his last breath and lies down and closes his eyes.
Exiting this world expecting to see only the black SWIM is accustomed to, he is met with this sensation of being lifted through this crazy tunnel where he is being stripped of himself. No concept of identity or fear at this point. Then he is met with this impossibly complex thing which felt like a lock but almost looked like a head if you don't look at all the little interlocking intricacies. Before SWIM could decide what it was for sure, an elf-like being came into my vision and smiled at SWIM. When this happened, it seems as though everything shattered and there was complete darkness with an obscure figure in the background. This figure got closer and looked as if it were injured or dead. At first SWIM began to get scared that this was going to get very scary, as he thought this the elf from before came back and comforted SWIM. No words were said but it was as if he was telling SWIM that the only thing to fear was fear itself. As this thought seemingly entered my brain from his SWIM realised that he had no reason to be afraid, it's counter productive. After this my eyes opened and it felt like I had opened them for the first time. Everything looked so strange like i had been gone for a lot longer than ten minutes.
SWIM has tripped since but has had trouble keeping his eyes closed and fully soaking the experience. Hopefully he can get some help here from some more experienced psychonaughts
Thanks for reading and I hope I can be a valuable member of this community. Peace and love.
