First time was using a vape a friend loaned me. Sitting on the couch hanging out with my dogs, mellow harp music playing.
First try I got floaty mesh everywhere but not much else. Enjoyed that and rode it through, then came on here to do some reading, waited about an hour and tried again. Made sure to take long deep inhales and hold them. Took as many as I could before losing my hands.
Started out with the mesh again then everything went cartoony, then fractals. Came out of it hugging on my dog and feeling a sense of immense panic but not panic. Like I was in the third person observing my body having a panic attack while my brain was totally calm and watching everything in a completely objective state. Lay there watching the mesh fade. There was a (dragon?) swimming around over me in the mesh.
After about an hour I tried again, this time in bed with the room almost dark, a small lamp on across the room.
Similar experience, when the fractals, kaleidoscope started I got lost staring at the panels on the door opening up into more and more and more doors. After coming back from that I stared at the ceiling and my dragon (friend?) again and at the clouds pouring from the hole in the ceiling where the light was focused until that phase faded away.
After that [Mod edit: no mention of sourcing!] I extracted some MHRB as to have a better idea of what and how much I'm inhaling. Did basically the Lazyman Tek and got a nice full snow globe. Bought a Yocan Orbit dab pen to use.
Slight bit of trial and error to get solid doses from the pen. I've figured out that a preheat to melt the crystal into goo then when I'm ready to go I use the middle heat setting, wait until the coil has just started glowing then take a long deep inhale. One full, inhaling until the pen gets to auto shut off, draw is generally enough to get to kaleidoscope land. I can manage three maybe four before I loose my hands. I use the neck strap hooked to my bedside lamp so I can safely just let it dangle rather than having to figure out how to put it down. First time I used it I held onto it and wound up making a mess with the liquified deemt.
My journeys with my current arrangement have been much more intense. I don't know about clockwork elves, I feel like I may have had some soap bubble gnomes trying to give me something? I have seen the dragon again but it doesn't hang out like it did the first few times.
Pretty much every time I feel I check out at some point in kaleidoscope land and don't regain awareness until I'm coming back up. Like I know there is more to the experience but my conscious mind isn't there, just my subconscious?
The only conversational kind of experience I've had that I could remember involved me in the first person discussing killing someone or something, but as it was happening I shifted to being a participant in the conversation to being an observer to moving away and watching from the shadows, then I came out. This was not a conversation with one of the gnomes, I have a vague memory of it being talk and slim. I got zero impression that there was anything concrete that was to be killed, I'm positive it was something abstract that needed to be eliminated. I have not been able to revisit that conversation though, I'm very curious as to what the subject was.
So yeah, I welcome any comments, advice, warnings, etc....
