Perhaps you should look also into growing and/or hunting psychedelic mushrooms.  Though I think LSD is a good starting place, it is difficult to source good, reliable, pure, decent dose level acid these days.  Easier to get so little one barely gets off or even an unwanted very long lasting research chemical.

With homegrown mushrooms (kits available via internet, spore exchange rings for spores, lots of how to books, etc.) you have it made.  You know all about what happened when, who grew them, what they are, etc.  Also, a hefty (I'd recommend starting MUCH lower and working your way up) dose in the 8 or more grams range should give you a great taste of what hyperspace resembles/is about.

I just think DMT is a very daunting place to start and there are so many other options. . . regardless, I just thought I'd put that out there for you to have to consider.
