Wow, astral travel & lucid dreaming are not things I'm too familiar with. I've heard of them, read a little & have a friend who practices lucid dreaming, but really I'm in the dark. I'd like to learn more.Jung & spirituality - I think I probably inferred more than is there. Perhaps it was the head space I was in at the time, but I do feel there was a spiritual undercurrent to a lot of the material I read. Phrases such as 'transcendent function' helped with my interpretation I think. Jung did plenty of research into the occult & mysticism, so I think there's a natural spiritual link there. I avoided the heavily technical psychology, so I'm biased of course.Booze -I never managed to keep count of what I was drinking. I was mainly a beer man, switching to spirits if I physically couldn't stomach any more fizzy alcohol, or if I'd had a brainstorm of sorts. A big part of my problem was a total lack of control over whether to stop or not once I'd taken the first drink of the day. Usually I just kept going until I dropped or ran out of cash. There were odd exceptions of course, but they prove the rule as the saying goes.
