Well swim was just wondering if anyone has had any negative reactions between spice and some pain killers got from the doctor. Its Just swim did his back in at work the other day and got some meds from the doctor to help with the pain, but swim just does not want to do any thing that will make the spice dream unclean if you can call it that. I know the safe thing is to just stay of spice till swim is fixed just have got into a ritual of a spice dream every week, as the spice has been helping with some other more mental problems and, spice is helping swim to come to terms with them. This question is more to be safe then sorry sort of thing as swim tends to worry about even the smallest of things.

SWIM has taken hallucinogens with several different opiods without problems. SWIM has a bad back and is prescribed. If anything the euphoria from the pills can accommodate the effects nicely.

I have also consumed both on numerous occasions without any conflicts. And as bufoman said the euphoria definitely goes nicely with it. Takes the edge off the intensity of a blastoff. A little bit of alcohol does too

something else I have noticed that I forgot to mention - the clean afterglow of a good dose of spice will sometimes makes you forget opiates were involved at all.

I am rather new to this, but I will tell you the little that I can gather from my research, knowledge, and experience...specifically from experience. My first experience was a week and a half ago (although it feels like eons) and a few days before that I had been released from the hospital where I had a surgery on my foot. I was on painkillers throughout the day at first.
SWIM brought some spice to our house, he had originally introduced us to the idea of it and told us about it as purely a good hallucinogen drug. I asked him before I took it if it would be bad for me with my foot in such condition and having taken 5 painkillers through the day. He assured me it wouldn't and that it would in fact heighten the experience. ...he was far more right than he knew.
After that night his and all of our minds in the house were changed in a way only some may understand. I was the last to partake in our circle, but I went the deepest/furthest almost immediately going into a trance.
So, as far as I know, it will do no harm, but I have read that alcohol will.

13scarletg, I am curious about your information regarding harm caused by combining dmt with alcohol. I have combined them many times, usually being drunk can allow one to take a bigger dose, due to diminished preflight anxiety and numbness to throat irritation. If anything, alcohol dulls the experience a little. I have never heard or read anything saying how this combination could possibly be harmful, at least with smoking freebase. I could see how ayahuasca or oral dmt may cause problems with alcohol from the maoi's in the mix, not the dmt. If you could provide a source that would be wonderful.
