need some help 2 questions 1 post

hey guys so 2 questions for today I figured I would put both here...

So ok first I want to know how effective a dab rig is for vaping? that's what I have been doing I have a titanium E-NAIL ontop of a dab rig. so 2 questions about that has does it compare as a route of administration compared to other methods? second it is a enail I can set the temp to whatever I want I have been using 650 just cause that's how I do my thc shatter would a different temp be better?

Second question....so after following cybs tek a/b I noticed first pulls came out dry white crystal....as it goes on it turns yellow and also more goo-y when scraped and even spots of yellow oil on the dish...all this is good? also hmm ok so let me use the example of doing a cacti iso extraction (now I understand this is different but I think some rules would still apply) so wiith a cacti iso extraction each pull I do produces signifigantly less and less product....this does not seem to be the case with the mimosa hostilis a/b well maybe slightly but not nearly as much as doing cacti pulls I seem to be getting around the same amount yeh a lil less but not much on each run so I am assuming as with any extraction the farther you go you start to pick up more "un desirables" from the plant....now again with cacti iso all there is is the cacti and iso alcohol in the mix however with this a/b there are obviously more chemicals in the mix...is there ANY danger of not only picking up undesirables from the plant is there any way I would be picking up any of the chemicals that I don't want? just want to have a better idea of why the product amount doesn't increase much just turns yellow and a lil goo-y and want to make sure that its not one of the other chemicals getting into the mix and effecting this for example obviously don't want to be smoking any lye that might mix in? this could be completely wrong just 1 thought that shot through my head and want to be sure everything I am doing is safe! OH also on the last pull (4th) it sat over night so maybe that's why I still got same amount but even pulls 1-3 had almost equal amounts and again want to make sure its just stuff from the plant and not other stuff I don't want! REally no one? UPDATE....so i have seen a decreese in quantity now in further pullls of extraction....

i would still like to see what people think about vaping with a dab rig tho

I started with a terrible crack pipe looking piece of garbage at first. Waisted a lot of goods and never broke through. Did some reading and decided on trying the rig method after a few attempts with the pipe. First swing with the rig and wholly moley what a grand first breakthrough. I was straight shot outta my body instantly. I felt the force of 3000 gs while everything melted away. With that being said, I have switched to enhancing herb with warm water bath since I started getting intimidated with the rig. A breakthrough seems a little more gentle that way. I heard the term hyperslapped, and it’s very easy to get that with a dab rig.
So here is my advice with rig:
Definitely weigh doses. You feel every single molecule using a rig at the proper temp, which is why I may have been hyperslapped a few times( I wasn’t weighing doses :surprised )
I didn’t have enail , just regular quartz banger, but temp is important as I’ve watched a bunch of spice liquify and shoot down the stem, wasted. I am not positive, but I believe the temp you’re looking for is closer to 350. I believe 650 is way to hot. This is in degrees of course unless that number you mentioned is a reference to wattage or something.
And last, be prepared to set the rig and tools down instantly. You have less than 3 seconds before you will loose your ability to guarantee you won’t burn stuff.

And on the extraction question, a few things:
The goo I believe is just plant fats and oils. I will get the same kinda residue on the bottom of my jars, with the crystals sticking up outta the thin layer of goo. Can’t say for sure what it is, but I smoke it, and Ive never had a problem. I think you can decrease it by doing a defat (solvent pull on acidic mimosa tea before basing) though I thought mimosa is pretty lean. I get a lot of that goo with my acacia extractions.
And with the yields on the pulls, that sounds par for course to me. I was also surprised on my first couple of extractions at this observation. My 2nd and 3rd pulls are usually the best. This I believe is because the first pull is saturating the solvent while the subsequent re-use of solvent is already at saturation, so everything you pull is more likely to precipitate after that. I put plain no additive salt after my second pull to, which helps polarize the solution more so the spice really wants to jump to solvent.
And for smoking lye, it’s pretty easy to identify if it’s in your pulls. It will be a very dark globby looking liquid in the bottom of you jar. Very different colored than spice. Try using a tall shot glass when pulling your solvent, which really helps you see if you pulled any basic solution with your pipette.

To answer your first question, a banger/oil rig works great for vaping FB.
As for it being an enail, 650 is probably going to burn some of the spice, 650 is 40° hotter than I use for THC lol.

DMTs vapor point is lower than THCs I'm pretty certain.

But I do feel that a banger/rig is a great way to make sure you get your full dose in one drag.
