Rising Star
So SWIM got to a point where he had freeze precipitated 106mg of yellow stained crystals, maybe another 100 or so light yellow evaporated less crystalline clump and a pile of browner kind of clay.

Finally he gathered the nerve to test the fruits of his labor. The house was quiet with everyone else sleeping, he lit a candle and set up his "work space" with Shpongle's "Invocation" playing just to cover any house creaks and groans that might creep him out too much. SWIM had 15mg loaded up (a bit much in retrospect for what his intentions were, simply to verify activity) and reluctantly began administration at once hoping that it would work and also afraid that it would at the same time. Before he had even filled his lungs he knew that it was going to.

At first it was simply the onset of interesting visuals as he was holding his breathe then he felt it kick into a whole other gear, he exhaled quickly hoping to halt the process but it was too late. He focused on his breathing to try and ground and frankly refused to close his eyes, not that it mattered.

"They" existed on a tangent plane between sight. SWIM was aware of them, he thinks he heard them though he couldn't make out what they said, and he sort of saw them in the breakdown of geometric sight. They were not cute and playful little things, they were tall and looming over him, 3 or maybe 4 he says he doesn't really remember and says he can't really remember what their faces were like but thinks they were in like lab coats or surgeon masks...or were they fedora style hats and trench coats?

He remembers the music muting at times as if he were drifting away and then back lingering on the threshold. He was rather frightened to be honest but calmed himself with the notion that it would soon be over, just seemed like not soon enough.

He says something drew his attention to the right side of his head where he became aware of a cylindrical object on the same plane between spaces as the "others" was being inserted into his head. It wasn't painful and actually seemed less frightening than "them" just standing over him, at least now they seemed to have a purpose.

Shortly thereafter he realized that he had regained, or still had, the ability to move if he desired and sat up. The room around him was still very different than it normally appeared (strange textures, strange lighting, ceiling fans turning though they were off, all of which wanted to bleed out of a 3-D space and into a geometric configuration or pattern). For a moment he thought it was over despite the evidence that it was not and then became aware of the evidence again which was overwhelming. He decided to lay back down.

He said it felt like he slipped back out a couple more times and during this time he was aware of "others" they did not break through the pattern weave again. He says he thinks they knew he was a little scared and were maybe being "nice" at this point, like they had done what was intended for the moment.

He had started to calm down about what was happening and decided to close his eyes, there were CEV's and almost a notion of seeing through his eyelids and not being able to tell if they were closed or open.

A few moments more and he was aware of his heart rate slowing and the room returning to more of a normal "trippy" looking place and not just the geometric panorama. Suddenly he was smiling (more like a $h!t eating grin at having been "baptized) and though he was still shaking with what must have been fright he was happy and relieved to have undergone his initiation.

He cleaned up his work space and went to wake his wife to inform her of his experience. He laid next to her and it felt good to be in the warmth of something from this plane but was too invigorated by his experience and so now sips a glass of absinthe as he dictates his tale for me to transcribe.

He says that while it was undoubtedly scary as hell he has full intention of traveling again at some point. He thinks that now that the first time jitters and pre-flight anxiety has been dealt with it will not be so bad.

He also says that it was VERY similar to a previous mushroom experience where he had ingested enough to feel as though he were slipping out of mind/perception - only then it was a little more frightening as he thought he had maybe just fried himself - this time he knew he was "safe" just further than intended.

His utmost amazement at this point is the potency of the yellow spice and wonders how in the hell anyone could get a "third toke" in with this stuff - He's not even sure he smoked the entire 15 mg and got what he thinks was a borderline breakthrough.

Lastly he says he would love some feedback on his experience - anyone have anything similar?

One final note - He wanted to add that he didn't find the smoke to be all that harsh - of course SWIM is a smoker and has smoked a many a substance in his day - but he was surprised at how easily it was held considering what he's read.

In SWIM's regards

Welcome to the forum! :D

I would very much like to read your report, but it hurts both my eyes and my brain to try and read such a massive wall of text. Can you please use line breaks? Don't be afraid to use too many, way better with too many paragraphs than with too few (or none)!

LoL...better?...edited for more tryptamine friendly vision....Sorry....SWIM was just rattling away so had to get it all down.

While I'm double posting on SWIM's behalf----he knows his experience wasn't in any way a "breakthrough" - nor was he trying for one his very first time. Just trying to avoid any comments towards his lack of comprehension of the full potential and what not. He was really nervous about his first time and wanted to test the water before taking any sort of plunge so please be understanding of this.

Thanks for sharing the report! I find it so funny how some Nexians feel presences right away and others appear to never get them at all. The fear seems pretty common starting out. SWIM says she thinks that the body load, which disappears completely for her after breakthrough, often leads to the anxious reaction. I don't think any reasonable person could go into this experience without feeling nervous.

Is that HP Lovecraft in your avatar?

Thanks for your post!

Wow, great recollection! I know the feeling of not thinking you're going to really experience anything and then !bam! you're gone :) The sh#% eating grin is also completely normal from what I can tell. In my own experience as well as with others I have done spice with there is always a giant smile involved.

I also couldn't finish a third toke and have no idea how some people can...I guess we have to work up to it. Just one question though, what did you use to smoke your spice?

Thanks again for the great report, good luck in all future ventures!

Syn - congratulations on your experience, and thank you for sharing it with us here! You seem to have an real respect for this molecule, and a humble demeanour, which I admire.

Hi Syn - one word you'll hear a lot on the Nexus is SURRENDER.

Another way of putting it is this: you buy the ticket, you take the ride.

Once you've decided to go on the journey, and put pipe to lips and flame to spice, the point of no return has been passed. If you have doubts, fears, regrets or second thoughts - it is too late. And trying to pull back is like a skydiver trying to get back in the plane once she's jumped out. You are just going to freak yourself out and probably break an arm, so to speak 😉

No matter what you see, whatever happens In there, you will return. Soon. In one piece. So if you've decided - and I mean really chosen with clear intent - to go on a journey, then I'd advise you accept it, embrace it, surrender to the process and lose yourself in it's infinite depths.

Your instinct to focus on your breathing is absolutely the right thing to do, imho, and I believe this focuses intent, and guides you through.

Pre-flight anxiety is a feature of the process for many of us. It never stops; and imho it has a real function. It must be dealt with; it focuses preparation and intent.

Safe travels, friend

I really enjoyed reading your report!

I think it's so fascinating about the dosage variations between different people. Your friend started seeing entities off of 15mg or less, yet others may not even see them at 40 or even 50mg.

Your friend is lucky in my opinion. They like him.

Okay so I'm gonna try to reply to several posts in one so bear with me 😉

As far as an apparatus it was a nifty item picked up at a novelty shop - sort of like a "base pipe" with a removable ground glass bulb or tip. Looks kinda like a penis with a removable head LoL:oops: But it's very pretty with sort of ivy looking green glass accents. A small amount of steel wool properly prepared shoved in the tips to keep any particles from falling out the hole and also to facilitate heating the spice. It worked EXTREMELY well in SWIM's opinion....easy to load, easy to smoke, easy to put down in an ashtray after administration.

Yes my avatar is Lovecraft...Huge H.P. fan ....something tells me he's familiar with spice or a close relative....in fact I have always been interested to try a guided experience with spice or similar using the Simon edit Necronomicon...he mentions use of "Grass of Olierbos" which seems very fitting considering Phalaris and such. Just not sure I'm brave/stupid/insane enough to do that journey.

Also not sure it was mentioned but that was all one toke...even a second seems like it would be difficult.

As far as surrender....SWIM remembers telling himself to let go and it'll all be over shortly, the focusing on breath was a tip picked up here and it was effective as long as he was "aware" of breathing. Not sure why there was a refusal to close eyes...but like said...didn't seem to matter as they still made themselves "seen"...was strange as it didn't seem like normal "sight" they were sort of inside his head projected into the external geometry kinda...hard to explain sort of peripheral overlapping layer. Almost makes him think of an old "B" movie called "From Beyond" where stimulation of the pineal gland produce "3rd eye sight"...though in the movie it was shown like thermal imagery:roll:

Any case thanks all and Thanks Nexus for holding SWIM's hand thus far...would have never made it this far without the assistance found here.

As addemdum a few other points have "boiled up" concerning the experience.

1)"They" were waiting/expecting/prepared for their visitor
2)A notion of bi-locality -being at once in the living room on the couch and also on a sort of table in a "lab" of sorts
3)Notion of being a somewhat "willing" participant in the "procedure" - he did make the conscious decision to "go"
----didn't help the "Scared little bunny" feeling though:shock:

The last thing being more in reference to having read about forced experimentation on schizophrenic patients in the 50's - SWIM knew what he was getting at and it was still pretty scary...to have that forced in a clinical enviroment when already in a broken state must've been living hell....I feel really bad for those unwilling participants

Wow, sounds like you had a really intense experience- the cylindrical object being inserted into the head in particular struck me. I know someone who had smoked DMT many, many times before having any entity contact at all. I'm hoping to get in contact with such beings, and whether their overtly friendly or not hope to learn and grow from such an experience.

I think pre flight jitters is a fairly natural thing and for some doesn't fade away no matter how many times they try a psychoactive substance. Just in my opinion, as long as it is out of healthy respect for the substance it isn't necessarily a bad thing. It let's you know your on the verge of something exciting and amazing enough to induce such a physiological response. Before sparking up though perhaps a mantra or a moment of meditation would help you calm your mind a little perhaps though.

Oh and this in particular I found interesting- "there were CEV's and almost a notion of seeing through his eyelids and not being able to tell if they were closed or open" as I have felt the same sensation. In a sense when seeing a very vivid complex geometrical design, it is almost like hyper-reality and even more there then when I see something with my eyes open. And things take on a different dimensional feel.

peace x

This is very interesting. I did a search on trench coats and this post came up. I also experienced a trip that involved a strange man in a trench coat and hat. Funny thing was, no matter where I would turn my head...he seemed to stay right in the corner of my vision..tricky little bastard.

just wanted to add this, a little bit of matching imagery
