New Album Release (Original Music)

Migrated topic.

TGO

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you.
Hello all,

As some of you may already be aware, I like to produce music in my spare time. Over the past few months, I've been working on these new tunes. It is a mix of progressive/psychedelic/electronic rock among other things that I hope you find interesting, should you decide to listen. Any comments are welcome.

Enjoy!

Thanks! My greatest strength musically is percussion so I try to incorporate as many exciting polyrhythmic sections as I can, building layer after layer on top of each other without overwhelming the general theme/direction of the song. It is a balance that is hard to find sometimes but is something I'm actively improving.

Very nice TGO! I hear some King Crinmson, Gentle Giant and Triumvirat influences.

8) Most definitely! I am huge fan of King Crimson and Gentle Giant and both have shaped my perception of music in positive ways! I'm less familiar with Triumvirat but have been meaning to get into their work.

@ Hug46 and Th Entity:

Thanks for taking the time to listen, it means a lot to me. I don't get a ton of feedback in my personal life, so it is always nice to hear what people think.

You got some talent brother!

Thank you for taking the time to listen, DeDao!

I know asking people to listen to an hour or so of music can be a bit much. I think for my next album, I'm going to cut it a bit shorter (~5 tracks or so) and focus more on a message with lyrics/vocals throughout. I've actually wanted to do that for some time, but I always struggle with finding/writing meaningful lyrics.

Note: Track 5 and 9 on this most recent album are the only ones with vocals.
