New Documentary by Dreaming Jaguars on extended state DMT

Just wanted to share this amazing mini documentary by Justin and Paul of Dreaming Jaguars about DMT extended research pioneered by Dr. Andrew Gallimore (author of the book Alien Information Theory) As well as insight from near death experiences from Pascal Immanuel Michael of Greenwich University with Dr. David Luke. Highly recommend this as well as checking the other videos with both Andrew and Pascal on the Dreaming Jagars YouTube channel, top quality content IMO. Also, Dr. Andrew Gallimore's book, Alien Information Theory has been a massive game charger for me and understanding how DMT works in conjunction with our brains. Very enjoyable. I really appreciated these scientific perspectives being so open-minded. Many don't want to venture outside of it "all being inside one's head." Too many implications to stipulations like that, such as getting funding for research.

I think Andrew should stop playing "Terence Mckenna"and focus on biological function of DMT before going off the deep end straight into alien realms. I was interested in what he had to say in a 2013 paper about DMT and human evolution but I have heard Dennis Mckenna say something similar and honestly, Dennis made a lot more sense. ( I understand he's a fan of Terence and Dennis but come on man be original).

It almost seems like he's playing the sensationalist "alien contact" card to garner attention. I find it kind of embarrassing and in a way it opens my eyes to the way my friends and family may perceive me when I'm acting like a loon. That fact is why I do not talk about DMT to anybody outside of this website, to remain anonymous regarding my craziness.

I'm sure all the Joe Rogan fans are all over this guy's "research". hahaha The fact that they didn't elaborate on the mental health breakthroughs that aya and dmt can have for people and instead focused on "alien contact" really says a lot about where these folks heads are at. I was disappointed to say the least.

Edit: Pascal Michael's and David Luke's research is legit. Whatever I say up there ^ is not in any way directed to those two cats at all. I wish they would have focused on their research instead.

I focus on the alien intelligence aspect of the DMT state because that's what I'm interested in. I appreciate it's the "deep end" but there you go, it is what it is. I enjoy writing and talking about these things. I've always admitted to sitting at the weirder and much more speculative end of DMT discussion, but I do it because it fascinates and intrigues me. It's not for attention or to emulate TM -- it's just because these ideas are what I'm attracted to, and I think I have something to say on the issue (even if it is *highly* speculative).

There are other scientists that are interested in the potential biological function of DMT (Frecska and D. McKenna, etc), but it's not what lights my fire. Why should I focus only on the aspects of DMT that you (or others) think is most scientifically grounded? Can't we all be free to think and talk about what we're interested in most? Or should I focus on what *you* think I should focus on???

Do we need to firmly establish the biological role of DMT in humans before we consider the weirder and more speculative aspects? Same with the clinical use potential of DMT -- it's a separate topic and not everyone has to be involved in all aspects of DMT research. The Dreaming Jaguars video isn't about the clinical uses of DMT, which is why it wasn't discussed. And, BTW, I've never called my speculations "research" -- they are just that: speculations. Having fun with ideas and possibilities -- is that such a sin??

With regards to originality, can you point to where D. McKenna presents the ancestral neuromodulator hypothesis I presented in my 2013 paper? I've spoken to Dennis at length about my ideas (years after their publication) and, whilst Dennis and myself are in many ways on the same kind of wavelength (in that we both enjoy speculative ideas related to DMT) and many of our thoughts overlap, it's just nonsense to suggest I'm recycling his ideas. But anyway, it's not really important -- I haven't even thought about that hypothesis in years and many parts of it I would change/reject now.

And, finally, if people think I'm a loon, then so be it. It's never concerned me in the slightest -- it's your embarrassment, not mine.
