Hello everybody!
I have recently become a new member to Nexus(skeptical about joining before), but I have been avidly reading/following posts for about 3 months now(my first experience into the void). Let me begin by saying I have been doing psychedelics for about 4 years now since i was 15. I would consider myself a moderately experienced psychonaut having experimented with LSD, LSA, Psilocybin, 5-Meo DMT, 4 Aco DMT, 2CI, 2CB, Dramamine but not until recently did i have the pleasure to try DMT.
I use psychedelics as a tool to assist me in self-discovery and I can truly say that never have I experienced such profound realizations until 3 months ago. Since that I have been reading posts regarding basic chemistry, extraction teks, previous experiences and advanced chemistry.( I want to thank everybody in this community, I think this is what psychedelic communities should be, a collection of knowledgeable, helpful and experienced people promoting ultimate safety)
I'm looking to extract very soon and am quite excited. I'm going to be using PanoraMIX European A/B tek. I am intrigued about the use of an acid without any cooks or harsh acids. I am acquiring all material necessary to begin but being quite patient to ensure I am approaching this correctly and safely. I have acquired "Red Devil" lye, 5% vinegar, Bestine( in replacement for Naptha), citric acid( I've read using 15 ml of fresh lemon juice works well), I'm waiting on the ammonia because I do believe I read in the FAQ's that it decreases yield. I considering a heptane recrystallization or a sodium bicarbonate wash.(If anybody has any suggestions or recommendations I am more than happy to hear them, my process is always evolving). Now I am simply waiting to find a good source of MHRB, but time is on my side.
I have had previous laboratory and chemistry experience so I am confident that with a couple attempts I can get my desired end product. I want to perform my own extraction because my first experience, the product was very yellowish and smelled fowl(which im told is always true). I was blown-away/amazed/humbled and I wanted to to experiment with higher doses but I began to worry about the impurities of the product. So it took it upon myself to take this excursion, and am very hopeful and excited for my future travels.
My apologies for the long post, I am just ecstatic to finally be part of the community and have so many questions to ask.:d
