new pleasent salvia experiance!

Its been a couple months since my last salvia trip and i decieded to give it go again this afternoon...
About 2:30 in afternoon i lit up a small dose of salvia 7x and found myself in an instant everchanging world ...
Listening to some native american spiritual music i quickly and safely entered salvia space...
This experiance was strong but very smooth and gentle at the same time..
Quickly starting to peak and finding myself in an ever changing foulding and rolling world I actually experianced myself in between ...my physical body //and //...my mind spirit.. clearly feeling this existance was awesome ..it was like standing at a crossroad on one side my body... and the other my spirit or mind energy!
All the time.. this experiance was strongl ..but also gentle...
I was beginning to feel who I really was without the filters most people feel in so called normal life.. ...and how secondary my physical body was.. compaired to my more important soul or mental existance...
This experiance caused some EGO death and left me humble and peacefull...
I felt nothing scary or alarming in my experiance with the sheperdess Salvia..I rarely ever do?
I cant understand why so many are sacared of the Salvia experiance ..this was like a timeless vacation to me....

I as well have never been scared by Salvia. I also am frustrated with the general assumption that it is scary. It most likely stems from (uneducated) people's propensity to do extracts higher than 20x. It's sad, because Salvia has so much to offer in the way of wisdom and mental stability. Sigh.

After working with Salvia for a long time, I rarely have experiences that are negative. But in the beginning...

I think the fear is due to large dosages, yes, but also it could be dependent on how attached the person is to their mental state (ie. their ego) and something like Salvia really starts to dissolve those mental constructs which would initiate the fear response. Your mind is convinced it's going to be obliterated and it creates a massive amount of fear so as to try to anchor you in this reality and stop your ego from being dissolved.

If we're more identified with our spirit/soul/true self, fear isn't as rampant and out of control.

I agree that most people jump into doses that are too high too soon. I have only used weak home made extracts twice. The rest of my 50 or so (?) Salvia experiences are with plain leaf (and one failed attempt at anal administration, lol). I've never had a bad, uncomfortable, dysphoric, or scary experience with Salvia.

I've always felt that if you approach Salvia with respect and cultivate a relationship with the plant and its spirit, then Salvia is nothing but benevolent. It doesn't even matter if you believe in spirits or not. I don't even know for sure if I believe in spirits, but I feel that operating under the assumption that they do exist is helpful.

Approach Salvia as if it is a sacrament and a teacher, and you will be rewarded. And the best way to do this, in my opinion, it to start with plain leaf. I've also found that combining plan leaf with other hallucinogens can create extremely deep and immersive experiences.

I started with plain leaf and haven't had the need to venture past that. I'll note that I have an usually low tolerance and around 75mg of plain leaf will send me to the edge of a breakthrough experience where reality and consciousness start replicating and spiralling in on itself. I must admit I haven't been further than this, I call it the cosmic sinkhole :lol:

I'd say plain leaf is way more forgiving but I haven't had extract to compare it too. I agree with PowerfulMedicine in that I haven't had an uncomfortable, dysphoric or scary experience on Salvia either, my strongest experience definitely had me gripping the metaphorical edge of my metaphorical rollercoaster seat, so to speak. Intense, yes but not bad. I don't know if I'd change my opinion once I have broken through though but I find that Sally treats me kindly. I'll add that I always approach a session with her with solid intention and ritual and that can make the world of difference.

Adding smoked or oral harmala's into the mix beforehand makes it a smoother experience also. As far as I know, not through MAOI activity but it synergises really nicely with Salvia and adds some euphoria... I don't dose without being harmala'd up now.

I'll add in that I had a couple of weeks break over christmas/new years from my initial few months of getting to know tha lady on a bi-weekly basis. My first experience back in the new year was just a low dose to respectfully make my acquaintance with her again. As the now all too familiar feeling of her embrace kicked in I heard and felt a group (but what also simultaneously felt like a single entity too) of children welcome me back... "HELLO! WELCOME BACK! This is what you forgot about... come play!" This caused a big smile to creep across my face, a feeling of childhood wonder that I was back in that mind space. Nothing mind blowing, just what felt like a mellow integration of human and plant consciousness melding again

I haven't really tried using Salvia with harmalas yet, but in my opinion harmalas are almost universal in there ability to potentiate hallucinogenic drugs. This is likely due in part to their pharmacological actions, but in the case of Salvia it's also enzymatic.

Harmalas are carboxylesterase inhibitors. This enzyme is one of the main enzymes involved in metabolizing Salvinorin A in the blood. So it makes sense that harmalas sound potentiate Salvia to some extent.

And I totally agree about the welcoming vibe and child-like wonder of the Salvia experience when starting out with and cultivating a relationship with Salvia through plain leaf.

I've even felt that the spirit of Salvia begins to invite you to go deeper and deeper with plain leaf alone once you have built a relationship with it. I actually feel like the spirit(s) have actively tried to push me farther and farther into their realm.

It really does feel like their is a slight reverse tolerance being built up. But I guess I don't use Salvia enough to really build up this reverse tolerance to the levels of a breakthrough on plain leaf.

I dont know why but most times i smoke my salvia 7x.. [even in low doses] with my door locked ..lights out.. curtains drawn ..[asumeing I have privacy].. on the come up I often feel like im surounded by people..[or beings?..in another world..
I could lock myself in a safe with a two foot thick door .. but on the come up im still surrounded by these beings...
The privacy i thought i had ..[desolves instantly!]and im sudenly naked to the world ?..
I often listen to spiritual native american music which seems to keep me calm durring salvia sessions and maybe its the native american musics magic.. amplified by the salvia??
After i get this feeling of strangers watching me I often get mesages that i shouldent worry because this is the true reality!
I except this message while on salvia ..but must admitt ..being in that world seems soo strange..like an egoless existance where the rules of normal reality no longer aply!
This is why I cant do salvia 7 days a week.. its too powerfull ..and its effects last quite awhile and the world is forever changed for me ..i feel more free than before..
Has any one else ever felt surounded by these beings while on salvia come up/

It makes me feel like salvia is a key to the spirit world!

I get that pretty much every time I've done Salvia. I usually feel the presence of many individual entities, but there is an over-riding feeling of a strong but gentle female entity.

Being that I mostly smoke plain leaf, I usually only get weak visual effects compared to extract. But I have seen multiple entities as well. I've even seen the Salvia spirit herself. These visions are mostly in the mind's eye though.

A common theme for my trips is that I am being brought into a class where the Salvia spirit is the teacher and the other entities are the pupils. I also often get a farm-like vibe from it as well. And one time I was stuck in the walls of the bus from the children's cartoon "The Magic School". The Salvia spirit was Ms. Frizzle. Her and the other children were trying to pull me out of the wall and into the bus.

And one time that I smoked Salvia during a DXM trip, I saw two humanoid beings flying toward me riding on winged insectoid dragon-like beasts. They had a tribal feel to them. I couldn't make out there features because they were made out of coiled fractals. That was really cool.

I agree..there is something awesom about salvias effects...
I usualy feel a gentle caring effect from salvia 7x..
I say 7x because ive tryed 60x...40x..20x..10x..and found 7x to be more navagatable almost perfect strength for me..
Salvias effects are strongly connected to dose..
My body once felt like felt like a flat wet rug.[I mean FLAT!]
I felt my body was a half inch thick melting into the couch..and when i wondered if my heart was still beating?
I sudenly noticed it beating in center of my chest and it felt tiny like a little button!:d
While this was happening.. I was not worried instead i started laughing:grin:
Most times i dont get that wiped out on salvia ..[i respect it too much]..and those beings are always there and somehow i always get the [message or thought] that the state im in is normal for all people!!
It seems that salvia goes straight to my brain and is a true mind experiance and cant feel much of blood pressure change like one can on DMT...
I often get the thought..[why do I try other psyoactives when salvia can do it all in a more gentle way...
Once i smoked some salvia 7x extract and observed a spinning vortex comming at me with hundreds of objects spinning straight at me..trees ..animals..mountains ..stars..then sudenly while sitting up in a chair ..felt my soul or inner self compleatly move out of my physical body sideways into another room or demention!
After that i reduced my salvia use for a while in awe of its power...
What halucinagen can be stronger than salvorian A..?
Yes i too feel a female or gentle power when in salvia space!

I believe in experiance above.. i was very close! .. to compleatly breaking through because most of the feeling of my physical body had .. [desolved and was evaporating fast!]..and once compleatly desolved.. i would have had an OBE out of body experiance!
Ive studied lucid dreaming for years.. and its an excepted fact that to experiance an OBE one must ..loose.. [or let go].. of the physical conection to their physical body then they exist in a new dream body outside of their physical body.
Ive experianced an OBE twice and many lucid dreams and the experiance is hard to put in simple words...
Just wanted to explain this...
