Thank you for your post.

I couldn't agree more. My first brush with psychedelics was in 1965 with LSD. It "blew my mind" to use that worn phrase, and it was a huge finger pointing at the invisible metaphysical dimensions, but my experiences on LSD were too "melty" and after each trip I was somewhat impaired for days afterwards.

Fast forward 38 years. I stumbled on to this website and did my first extraction a month or so ago. I have now had 3 oral experiences and an evening wtih "changa". I am no stranger to technologies of personal growth, having done my share of silent retreats, psychotherapy, breathwork, and bodywork. Nothing I have experienced in my life blasts the lid off unconsciousness like DMT.  I also agree that the experience while under the influence of the molecule reverberates afterwards. I experence the visions and sensations during the trip as if they are a download from source through vehicle of my soul. I have no judgement about people who only want trip recreationally, except to say that it seems like a missed opportunity for a massive spiritual gift that you must be prepared to recieve if you are to recieve it.

I note that there is a resurgence of interest in doing research with psychedelics. Unfortunately from my point of view much of that research seems to be looking at other agents: psilocybin, LSD, and mescaline. Having tasted them all I would say that DMT's potential as a "psycho-integrator" substance is head and shoulders above the rest.

But again, thanks for the post and welcome to DMT-Nexus. It's good to know that there are others on the website that are interested in DMT as a healing tool.
